I’ve been using Wunder eye Cream for a year over a year now and although I do love it for how well it works, i have to admit I got tired of it..Yea..blogging kinda makes me fickle towards a particular brand. I’d been lemming for this Origins eye cream since eons (ok for a few months after seeing it being used by a fav Youtuber) and have been using it dedicatedly for 3mts ever since i got my paws on it
About Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream:-
- Price: $30 for 15ml
This comes in a tiny glass tub..and when I say tiny, I mean TINY in every sense…It’s about the size of a Kryolan Dermacolor concealor tub and the product itself is a pearly pink. For the price I wish they’d have a bigger size…
So does this work? Let’s see..
- Reduces dark circles? Not really
I was hoping this would work well for my darkies but it doesn’t. After 3mts of usage, my DCs have lightened a bit but nothing as effective as Wunder Eye Cream did. That baby made my darkies vanish whereas this cream just lightened them.
- Reduces eye bags? Yes
I can truly appreciate this cream post pregnancy and the sleepless nights. This does work for the under eye bags and whats better is that it works fast and within minutes.
- Reduces puffiness? Yes
How do I use it?
If I’m going out, I apply a tiny dot sized amount on my under eye area after or before applying moisturizer. I wait for it to sink in and then continue with my BB cream or foundation..I did feel a tingly sensation the first 3 to 4 times I used this but not since then. What I like about this is that within a few mins, my eye area looks healthier and the pink puffiness reduces significantly.
A very tiny amount is needed..a dot-sized amount is sufficient which is why as you can see, the tub still seems to be full. The amount in the swatch would probably suffice for 4 or 5 uses. So in regard, the price is justified..but that still doesn’t mean I didn’t feel a pinch when I first held this tiny tub in my palm and thought, “Eeeekkk!! $30 for this???“
I do like this cream although for the price, I’d still like for it to work just as well on my DCs. Another thing to point out is that although this cream works, the results are not permanent..It’s more of a plumper for the eye area whose effect fades in about 6 to 7hrs after application.
Have you tried any product from Origins?
