This is a product my aunt has been using for some time now, so when she came over for a few days I decided to try it out too (I will be reviewing two more products of hers also). So, this is a combination of both of our reviews so you know how this worked on my (normal skin) and hers (combination skin).
I’m sorry for a bit hazy first picture.
This piece was a part of a combo set.
This product contains Oxybenzone, which is a part of many sunscreens and is the subject of controversy as to its side effects, please Google it for more information.

Experience on using Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer:
Aunt’s experience (combination skin with dry cheeks)
My aunt has been using this for over three years and she was satisfied with this product though it does cause her t zone to get really oily after some time .This has never broken her out though, and it seems to be more suitable for winter. Now after she has started using Kaya she is finding it way better than this.
My Experience (Normal Skin)
It requires a pea sized amount and blends really well, but the sad part is as soon as I apply this my face dulls down LL . After an hour or so it also starts feeling really greasy and I keep on reaching for a hanky to wipe my face. As to sun protection, it seemed to work well on me too.
Texture: The cream is quite thick but spreads easily on the face.
Fragrance: This is mentioned as fragrance free but has a medicinal smell which is not unpleasant and disappears immediately on applying.
What I liked about Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer:
- SPF 25 protection which is sufficient and effective
- 100% Allergy tested
- Suitable for winters
- Does not cause breakouts.
What I did not like about Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer:
- Makes face really greasy
- Dulls down face
- Quite expensive
- Thick texture
Would I recommend Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer Dry Combination Variant?
No, I won’t, it makes the face really greasy and dulls it down. This is not what one expects from any moisturizer let alone such a high priced one.
