My obsession with nail colors has drawn me to the best of brands for nail care. Sally Hansen being one of my favourites. I wouldn’t say it’s affordable, but it definitely is worth investing it. Sally Hansen is a dedicated Hands and Feet care product company. They make not only nail colors and nail art products but hands and feet care too. Like hand creams, Instant Cuticle remover, nail hardeners, legs air brush etc. They have a revolutionary set of products.
Their nail colors have different ranges too. I picked Plum’s the word 360 from their Complete Salon Manicure range. They have a wonderful line of colors in this range. These are their absolute professional range and perform like one.
Plum’s the Word is a Dirty Mauvish pink color. Known as the Onion color popularly among Indians, but slightly darker. It isn’t as dark as the color Plum though.
The texture needless to say is super smooth and a dream to apply. Thick enough to give a gel nail like finish. Dries on the nails relatively fast. One to two coats can give you the most beautifully coated nails. It stays on for a good week (minimum) with all the house hold chores. Ofcourse I top it with a top coat. I have been wearing it for over 10 days now and I see light chipping of color at the edges which can be fixed with filing.
The packaging is a sophisticated glass bottle with a metallic top and inbuilt brush ofcourse. With my experience with so many nail colors I have realized that the brush is the key to a good nail color application. It’s not a rounded brush but a flattened brush that picks the color well and works beautifully on the nails.
What I like about Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Plum’s the word 360:
- Gorgeous color
- Love the gel like texture
- Long stay of color
- Flat brush for flawless application

What I don’t like about Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Plum’s the word 360:
- Product wise nothing at all
Overall rating: 5/5 (I love it)
Price: Euro 8 (I think, don’t remember well)
Where I got it from: Sephora, Champs Elyse, Paris , France.
This is how it looks on me:
