L’oreal Professionnel Force Vector Glycocell Masque
Today I will be reviewing the L’oreal Professionnel Force Vector anti-breakage masque for fragile, brittle hair. I always buy a shampoo along with its matching hair conditioner (don’t we all do? ) so when I purchased the L’oreal Professionnel Advanced Density shampoo, I asked him for the hair conditioner and he suggested the Liss Ultime Hair Masque. As I did not see any Advanced Density conditioner (at least not in that salon), I picked up the Force Vector mask as it said it was for fragile, brittle hair. And I’m so glad I did coz I am SO IN LOVE with this masque!

My experience with L’oreal Professionnel Force Vector Glycocell Masque:
The hair masque is white in color and of creamy consistency. It is not too thick nor is it too runny. It spreads very well and washes off easily too. It has a very pleasant fragrance. It’s like the salon-spa kinda scent. Not sweet but slightly spicy and musky. All in all, a very pleasant fragrance. The scent definitely lingers and makes your hair smell very good post a shower
The directions say to use it on towel-dried hair post shampooing but I generally end up using it in place of a conditioner (coz I’m lazy like that ) and I must tell you that my hair TOTALLY LOVES this masque! I have dry, frizzy, wavy hair and this masque totally tames them without weighing them down. It has made my hair very soft and lustrous. It is very moisturizing. It has even added a bit of a shine to them and they actually feel so much stronger now. It has reduced hair breakage considerably. I have tried this with several shampoos (drugstore and salon type) and it always shows the same result!
My hair looks and smells so good that even my boyfriend when he touched my hair said “wow, they are so soft, what did u do” (and we all know how lame guys can be in noticing such stuff )
I have tried this masque as per the instructions given a couple of times on towel-dried hair and the results are even better that way. When I used it in that manner, my hair looked like I had gotten a blow-dry or something. The frizz just went away like magic!
This masque is definitely on the expensive side but I have been using it since nearly 4 months, 2-3 times a week and you can see still how much product is still left so I don’t feel guilty about picking this up at all
Summing it up:
What I like about L’oreal Professionnel Force Vector Glycocell Masque:
- Made my hair very soft and manageable
- Made my hair shiny
- Moisturizes very well without weighing hair down
- Reduced hair breakage as per claims
- Works better when used as per the instructions given on the tub. This way you only need to use it once a week as opposed to every time you shampoo.
- A little goes a long way so this product will easily last me another 6 months at the very least. I have long hair till the middle of my waist and you can see how much product I have used.
- Tub packaging so you can use up the entire product.
What I don’t like about L’oreal Professionnel Force Vector Glycocell Masque:
- Availability. You get this only at salons. However it’s available online so that’s sorted
- This is not necessarily a con but an advice of sorts. My hair is thick and wavy so it tamed it wonderfully. For girls who have straight, fine hair, I suggest you try this masque out and if you find it weighing down your hair, then use it just once a week instead of every time you shampoo I’m sure it’ll work out that way.
Will I recommend this to others?
Absolutely! This masque totally works and makes your hair look and feel like a dream. The price is on the steep side but since it last so long, I really don’t mind (p.s. I calculate it like this – 600 bucks product lasts me nearly 6 months so 100 per month, not too bad right )
