We all are aware of benefits of Multani Mitti/Fuller’s earth for oily skin. I have read it somewhere that Multani Mitti makes an excellent cleansing component which offers highly absorbent qualities. It is abundant in minerals and when applied on the skin it helps attaining a natural flawless skin. When applied on the skin it hardens slowly as it dries, and thus aids in absorbing the lifeless cells present on the skin surface making it oil free and moisturized. The nutrient in the fuller’s earth hydrates the skin thus leaving it smooth and glowing. I have read several rave posts on Forest Essential Ubtans in the blogosphere & as previously mentioned, am an hoarder of FE Ubtans. Multani Mitti is the first ubtan that I’ve purchased from Forest Essentials brand. For me Forest Essentials Multani Mitti is like a “Miracle in Jar”. It may sound overstated but it has works wonders on my skin. This is one of my Holy Grail products for all the good reasons-its natural, its effective, its Forest Essentials. It really has work well with awesome results.
About FOREST ESSENTIALS Facial Ubtan Multani Mitti:
A purifying and deep cleansing blend of herbs, Neem and Multani Mitti for blemished and acne prone skin. Regular use leaves the complexion soft and glowing with a radiant sheen.
- Ingredients:– MultaniMitti 55%, Neem Leaves 20%, Turmeric 8%, Fenugreek 6%, Lodhra 5%, Priyangu 5% Banyan Bark 1% .
How to use it?
Although as per Forest Essentials instructions this ubtan has to be use to wash the face, I prefer to use it as a mask for once or maximum twice a week. I mix half a spoon of this ubtan either with Rose Water (in summers) or with curd (now a days i.e.winters) and apply all over my face and neck and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Once it dries it can get pretty hard on your face so I prefer to wash it off while it is in a semi dry state. I use cold water to wash it off, as soon as I wet my face, the clay starts softening and dissolving, then i rub the mask with my hands in circular motion and wipe it off.
Quantity and Price:
Rs.495/- for 50 gms of product. One of the many great things about Forest Essentials Ubtan is although they are costly, yet you get a lot of use from one pot, i.e.total value for money.
The first thing you will notice when you open the container is the smell. It’s so herbal, it’s natural, it’s mild, it’s Forest Essentials-partly of Multani Mitti and partly of exotic herbs.
Finely milled smooth clay powder with tiny particles of herbs.
My experiences with FOREST ESSENTIALS Facial Ubtan Multani Mitti:
This is one product that has made me Forest Essentials convert. Iam using FE Multani Mitti Ubtan since 2010 and over the years it has become a staple in my skincare regime and I have repurchased it again and again.Initially I’ve used only this Ubtan offered by them but later I’ve purchased all the variants, still in my opinion it is the best ubtan offered by Forest Essentials.Using it feels like a luxurious spa treatment.
Not only does it contribute to soft and smooth skin, but also helped a lot in calming down the redness in my face due to pimples and reducing my existing adult acne as well. I think it dries them out really well and “sucks” out the redness in them which makes the pimples less noticeable. I have been nothing but impressed by this product since the first time I used it. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. When I do get breakouts, as I still do from time to time, the mask is great for making the imperfections less noticeable and promoting a quick healing process.
I have also noticed that the product has helped in controlling sebum and oil secretion a lot. My skin is now clearer and less oily than it was before. My spots from previous acne become lighter and overall skin looks healthier, glowy and my pores appear cleaner. When mixed with liquids it turns into a non-runny paste and does not fall all over here and there when applied The consistency when mixed with either Rose Water or Curd is absolutely beautiful, it smooths over your face nicely and just glides on.I find it very easy to remove also.I usually leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse it out with cold water. It rinses of easily and leaves skin feeling soft, supple, squeaky clean and fresh.
Since it sucks all the oil from my skin I immediately apply my DDMG after washing it off otherwise I feel my skin a little bit dry. However I never use it more than twice a week because no matter how much I love a product my skin simply hates overdoing anything.
What I like about FOREST ESSENTIALS Facial Ubtan Multani Mitti:
- Gives a natural glow to face, makes skin look radiant and even in a long run.
- Smells wonderfully.
- All natural ingredients.
- Natural cleanser which controls oil very well & dries acne.
- No irritating or uncomfortable feeling.
- It also helps in getting rid of tanning and pigmentation & has a soothing effect on the skin.
- Put a check on skin discolouration and acne.
What I don’t like about FOREST ESSENTIALS Facial Ubtan Multani Mitti:
- Expensive for Multani Mitti (fir bhi yaar, total value for money).
- Even a complaint prone person like me is unable to find any more cons now even after lot of brain storming
Rating: 5/5…100% effective.
