My experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter :
It has a big tub like packaging like all other TBS body butters. I smelled each of the body butters at the store as I was looking for a mildly fragranced product and not insanely fragranced as most of the TBS products are. This one had a decent mild fragrance and also since it had vitamin E, I picked this up. The packaging is of plastic but is still sturdy and leak proof.
The texture is actually like butter. The surface is glistening like butter and not like a thick lotion. You need very little amount for a surface. I use just for the arms and feet. If I were to apply it on the whole body, it would finish up very soon owing to my dry skin and that I need a hell lot of moisturisation in winters. It does not spread up so much like a lotion, so applying on the whole body would also be a little tiresome for me.
The reason I love it is that it quenches the thirst of my dry skin very well and I do not need to reapply it until another day turns up. It gives a subtle glow to the skin which I like very much. Also, it is mildly scented and the fragrance is to my liking. This is a must have product for me in winters; my hands and feet cannot do without it. My mother also loves the glow and moisturisation it provides.
So folks those of you who want something that would keep dryness at bay all day, has a nice feel and fragrance and makes the skin look fresh and glowy in winters- this is the product for you. While if you are looking for a product to apply on the whole body from neck to toe; I think this would be expensive and little time consuming as it is not so runny, you should better opt for thick lotions or body oils.
What I like about The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter:-
- Packaging is leak proof.
- Glistens like an actual butter.
- Keeps dryness at bay for the whole day even in winters- love it for this quality.
- Gives a glowy look to the otherwise dull dry skin in winters.
- Has a mild and appealing fragrance.
What I don’t like about The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter:-
- Using it for the entire body everyday would take time and would lead to finishing of the product very soon.
- Contains parabens. (I thought TBS is a natural brand )
Rating: 4.5/5 because of hydration, fragrance and glow. Have you tried The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter?
Until next time, take care!
