My experience with Bourjois Paris Ombre a Paupieres Eye Shadow 09 Orange Subtil:
Bourjois Little Pot Eyeshadow Orange Subtil comes as a cute pot packaging which is sturdy and attractive as well. When you open it there is mirror on the surface inside the upper cap and eye shadow is dome shaped in structure. A small applicator comes along which is yet again cute but sadly of no use. Well, it is only the packaging for which I have good words to say.
This is an eye shadow with baked formula which means it can be used both wet and dry. I used it in both forms and was utterly disappointed. This was bought with an intention of using it with brown eye shadow in the outer corner to go with ethnic attire but I couldn’t spot such a look even once because of the bad quality of this eyeshadow. It looks good when you swatch it on hand but when applied dry on the eyes it does not show up at all. Even if you try to build it, it looks patchy and creased within 10 minutes itself and shows up like you’ve been wearing it since 12 hours or so. To top it all, it has immense fallout which is evident from the pictures also.
When I used it with the wet brush, pigmentation was better but it still appeared to be patchy. It makes my eyelids look like those of a 50 year old female- shrivelled and saggy. I tried it the other way too, that is taking the shadow on the brush first and then spraying water over the brush before applying on the eyelid- it turned out to be equally bad. Then I tried applying with my finger tip but it didn’t get any better.
Bourjois Paris Ombre a Paupieres Eye Shadow 09 Orange Subtil Swatches:-
So, overall pigmentation- disgusting; staying power- disgusting; fallout-superb; packaging- good. Decide for yourselves whether you want to burn your money or not.
What I like about Bourjois Paris Ombre a Paupieres Eye Shadow 09 Orange Subtil:
- Only the packaging.
What I don’t like about Bourjois Paris Ombre a Paupieres Eye Shadow 09 Orange Subtil:
- Pigmentation is awful irrespective of being used dry or wet.
- Gets patchy within no time.
- Makes eyes look worse.
- Immense fallout.
- Applicator is of no use.
Rating: How am I supposed to rate something I cannot use at all. Thank god I tried it first time at home itself; imagine if I applied Bourjois Little Pot Eyeshadow Orange Subtil before going to an outing or event I would have pulled my hair out for making my eyes look that bad. Still if you want me to rate Bourjois Little Pot Eyeshadow Orange Subtil , I would give it 1/5 for the thoughtful packaging.
Until next time, take care!
