Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner Review – Hi everybody, When I bought so many FE products I didn’t pick this one. It was later that I realised I had picked up everything for my skincare except a toner. So, I ordered this one too.
Price: INR 1125 for 200ml and somewhere around 600 for 100ml.
About Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner:-
The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate and tone it and prepare it for your nourishing routine. Our pure and active water-based toners are made from floral, fruit and herbal extracts, captured and crystallized at the height of potency, essential to the Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive the skin. Saffron gives the skin a warm glow.
Making of the Product: Fresh floral water of Rose, Marigold, Bela, Kewda and Saffron is steam distilled for its essential oil and the hydrating floral water residue is used for the facial tonic mist.

My experience with Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner:
Though the rose variant from this brand worked amazingly for my sister; still I was more attracted to this one I don’t know why. Ok, so I have been using this for a week now. One of the positive changes that it brings to my skin is a subtle glow. No, I am not mixing it up. Each one of the three products toner, day lotion and sandalwood and saffron night cream impart glow to my face and I have come to this conclusion after using them separately as well. Like for some days I tried each product alone without the other two. (Phew.. so much of testing na.. )
Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner does give a cooling sensation to my face. So, I think this is going to be my best friend in the coming summer months. Also, it enhances the efficacy of the day lotion in terms of hydration, glow and giving life to the skin. I do not have open visible pores, so I cannot comment on that. At the same time, I don’t want them to appear any day in future so this is a precautionary step I have incorporated in my routine. My sister had some large visible pores and that is the reason she used the rose water toner and there was a remarkable difference in the visibility of pores on her face. Toners that I have tried from other brands mostly sting badly on my face so I would stick to this only.
Talking about the packaging, it comes in a long plastic bottle which is sturdy. It has a small hole on the mouth for the toner to come out. I thought with this packaging, the toner would spill from the bottle but it didn’t happen likewise because the cap has a cork kind of thing which fits in that hole during closure and that makes it spill proof. Anyways, the latest packaging has spray nozzle in toner bottles so you need not understand the above stated mechanism. It has a fresh floral fragrance which is more of sandalwood and less of some other flower. This fragrance adds to the luxurious feel good factor.
Overall, if you want to buy a toner that is all natural, does not have alcohol in it and you have oily skin or visible pores you should buy this. It does not hydrate so much; just a little bit of it. It is a good product but not something miraculous for me. I’ll buy it again just for the sake of trust that I have on FE now or maybe I’ll try the rose variant next time.
Otherwise I think people who do not have large visible pores can stick to normal pure rose water from patanjali or similar brand. This one I don’t think deserves to be priced for 1125.
P.S. I will update you on my experience with this in summers as well; that is the time we need toner the most.
What I like about Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner:
- It gives a cooling sensation.
- Aids in clearing my skin.
- Adds a slight glow to my face with time.
- Hydrates to a very little extent.
- Does not sting my face.
- Enhances the efficacy of day lotion.
- I have heard it reduces visible pore size from friends who have such problem and are using this.
What I do not like about Forest Essentials Panchpushp Facial Toner:
- It does not hydrate as much as is raved about it.
- This product is overpriced.
Until next time, take care!
