LOreal Paris Shine Caresse Milady Lip Gloss Review – Today I am reviewing my second favorite from L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Colors that is Milady. My most favorite shade is Faye. But for everyday use I prefer something subtle from pink or peach family. Faye is bold, fun shade. On other hand Milady is girly and cute shade. Further read on to know how well it performed for me.
Price: Rs 449 for 6ml.
My take on L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Color Milady:
Packaging: The lip color’s tube/long bullet case comes in a silver colored cardboard box with ingredients, shade and other details written on it. The case is metallic golden in color. You can see the shade from a little transparent portion below neck of the case. The applicator is of leaf shape, easy to use. The packaging is very classy and elegant. It just couldn’t be better.
Shade: The shade appears Pinkish mauve with little hint of purple in tube but on lips it looks delicate pink with tiny-miny purple hue. It’s very young and girly shade. For me it’s MLBB shade with hell load of shine.
Texture: At first it feels runny. Also it smells like nail paint remover but the smell disappears with lightening speed.
With time the intensity of color increases and it starts to appear more in mauve side. Still it looks delicate and pretty. The watery formula settles to gel finish. It completely locks the color and shine keeping the lips moisturized at the same time. Once settled, it does not budge from its place. It does not transfer at all.
Staying power: The shine remains as it is for 4 hours with tea, snacks and meal altogether. Later the shine starts to fade leaving behind strong stain. Even the stain of this lip color is moisturizing. As long it is there on your lips, it will keep your lips moisturized!! The stain stays for 4-5 hours more. If you don’t eat anything heavy it stays all day long.
Still I feel that it performs a little less than Faye, may be because it is a lighter shade. But one thing is sure there is nothing like ‘TOUCHUP’ exist for these lip colors.
Yes, if your lips are very pigmented then you might need more than 2 swipes otherwise a single swipe is enough to work.
