Green tea is full of anti-oxidants that are well-known to slow-down the ageing process. Moreover it reduces pimples and dark spots and evens out skin tone. The benefits increase manifold if you apply it directly on face. Here are some face packs that you can make using green tea to get brighter skin.
If you want glowing skin just before hitting a special occasion, this one is for you. Take a green tea-bag and immerse it in boiling water for a few minutes. Then take it out and squeeze a little. Now rub the tea bag on your face until is cools down. You are ready to glow now.
Green tea and cocoa powder
This face pack also brightens up the skin instantly. Take cocoa powder and green tea in equal quantities. Add in a tbsp. of almond oil. Wash it off after 20 minutes. This face pack will make your face look radiant.
Green Tea and Banana
This is a refreshing face pack. Take 1 teaspoon of ripe mashed banana and 1 teaspoon curd. Now add 1-2 teaspoons of green tea water. Apply this paste on face and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water to feel rejuvenated.
Green Tea and Ginger
This is a good solution for dark spots. Boil water and immerse 3 tea bags and ginger root in it. Strain the mixture and apply this concoction on your face paying attention to blemishes and scars. Your pigmentation will reduce with regular usage.
Green tea and Strawberries
Take three strawberries and mash them. Add in 1 tbsp. green tea and honey. Apply the paste on your face and massage for a few minutes. Rinse off after around 20 minutes. This pack has anti-ageing effects and reduces wrinkles and fine lines.
Green Tea and Rice Flour
This pack is especially good for oily skin. Take 1 teaspoon of rice flour and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Give it the goodness of green tea by adding 2 teaspoon of green tea water. Apply this paste on your face and wash with cold water after 20 minutes. This pack reduces dark spots and makes skin glow.
