Hello beauties! I am back with the review of Lotus Herbals Moistpetals Lipstick Burgundy. I bought this lipstick recently online. I am a big fan of lipsticks, lip balms and lip glosses. I generally stick to pinks, reds and peaches so this was a bit different color zone for me when it comes to lipsticks.
Lotus being my favorite brand of sunscreens, I ordered this lipstick without any thoughts.

My experience with Lotus Herbals Moistpetals Lipstick Burgundy:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a red & gold packaging that looks classy and is sturdy. It doesn’t look chic, though. There is no color band on the lipstick and the only way of knowing the shade without opening is seeing the bottom of the lipstick.
Color & Pigmentation: The color is true burgundy. It contains tiny shimmer but that is hardly noticeable. This is definitely not an everyday shade but yeah you can pull it off if you were going to attend a wedding or some party. The shade is well pigmented. Two swipes make it look opaque. The finish is neither matte nor glossy.
Texture & Fragrance: The texture is creamy and spreads in an average manner on well hydrated lips. It might be a quite difficult to spread it evenly on dry lips. I recommend using a balm underneath. It is weird how this lipstick just refuses to sit evenly on my lips. This is the first lipstick that makes me go crazy while I make it look evenly spread. It is important to mention that I have very well hydrated lips.
It does not dry the lips; in fact it is moisturizing. It’s weird but it smells like boroline.
Staying Power: It stays for good 3-4 hours.
What I like about Lotus Herbals Moistpetals Lipstick Burgundy:
- Creamy & moisturizing.
- Decent staying power.
- 97% natural lipstick!
- Decently Priced.
- Easily available online and at retail counters
What I don’t like about Lotus Herbals Moistpetals Lipstick Burgundy:
- Difficult to apply evenly.
- Smells like boroline.
- Contains shimmers!
Wise She Rating: 3/5
Final Verdict: Though I might not re-purchase it, I might pick up other shades from this range.
