Hey all beauty geeks!!! If I randomly ask you ‘What color was your first blush?’, majority of the answers would be of pink, peach, coral or any other subdued shade of blush. But if you ask me, my answer would be ‘Chambor Blush in Ambering Rose‘. Yup, very unusual and a bright shade. And of course, I had to buy a wearable pink blush very soon as this was a very office-inappropriate blush. Or so I thought at that time. Without a proper brush and a wrong technique, I just could not do justice to this beautiful blush. However, now I simply love this shade and thought of sharing with you guys as well .

My take on Chambor Single Blush in 66 Ambering Rose:
Chambor Single Blush in 66 Ambering Roseis a muted orangey brown color with strong red undertones. My mother calls this a rust color. Take your pick The blush has some very fine gold shimmer to it, which adds a beautiful glow to the face without even being visible. The blush is very soft to touch and crumbles very easily. In fact, mine broke with the way I mishandle my blushes So, I used the alcohol method and formed a pressed powder again.
The blush has very earthy tones and will look uber chic on medium tones. Though the color looks a little intimidating in the pan, it transfers to an ethereal shade on the cheeks. In fact, I have even worn this with a smokey eye and it did not look over the top at all. The blush goes on very smoothly and does not look patchy. Though it has a bit of earthy tones to it, I will still not advise to contour with it as it definitely has warm undertones. The contour powder should always have cooler undertones to it, otherwise it might look muddy on the face.
Texture: The blush has a very smooth texture to it. Not at all powdery and is very creamy to touch, without being a cream. Gives a very soft and natural finish to the cheeks. The gold shimmer is not detectable and ultra milled.
Pigmentation: The blush is heavily pigmented. You definitely need a very small tap to get a soft, beautiful color on your cheeks. Since this is a strong color, you need to be careful with the amount you apply.
Staying Power: Lasts all day/night long. Does not move around or fade a bit.
Packaging: The blush comes in navy blue compact with a Chambor logo printed on the top. It has a mirror inside the compact. The blush comes with a slim brush, which obviously will do no good to your blush application.
However, ladies wait before you throw out the brush. Those of us who do not have adequate eye brushes, the brush can serve as an all over blending brush for a single color on the eyelid. Also, you can use it to apply and blend a matt brown as a transition color just above the crease. Another paisa-vasool tip.
