How was your weekend? Mine was ok. Actually we planned a trip in this long weekend, but because of unfortunate reasons it was cancelled and we went to national park. Me and hubby went for kayaking. I don’t know swimming but hubby assured me nothing was going to happen (of course life jacket is there), have you guys ever tried kayaking? If not just do it and you will just love it. So today’s review is about a night gel from Ole Henriksen brand, and this is my first night cream/gel.
About Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Gel:
Invigorating night gel contains botanical alpha hydroxyl acids in concentrated amounts resulting in rapid cell proliferation, exposing the appearance of younger and firmer looking skin and pores. Skin feels hydrated and never irritated, with the fruit acids suspended in purified algae extract, vitamins E and C, plus mucopoly-saccharides.

My Experience with Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Gel:
Good skin care routine is a must and night cream/gel plays a very important role. Until I bought this, my skin care routine was simple, just cleansing, toning followed by moisturizer in the night. But I decided to use a night cream, after knowing its benefits. Then I started searching for a good night cream. I finalized 5 creams, but most of them are with parabens and sulfates and I wanted the one without parabens and sulfates, so I chose this finally. I visited Sephora and got a sample of this. I tried it for 3 days, it didn’t break me out, and it made my skin look even tone and brightened. That’s all I need. I finally got full sized one.
It contains AHA(alpha hydroxyl acids) which treats fine lines, wrinkles, evens out skin tone and rapid cell formation, but this ingredient may cause redness, burning sensation to sensitive skin.
It also contains Vitamin E and C, which give brightening and hydrated looking skin. It also contains algae extract.
The clear gel is tightly packed in the jar. When I apply this gel on to skin it gets absorbed fast. But it immediately makes skin tight, that’s why it is indicated to apply moisturizer top of it. What ever may be the skin type but moisturizer is needed. This gel consists of saccharides that help to bind moisturizer to it.
From the very first day it shows the results, but those are not more significant. Younger looking, bright, hydrated, pore free skin can be achieved after a month of usage. It faded my old acne marks, helped to get even skin tone particularly around my mouth (because of hormonal disturbance my skin around mouth is very dark). It made my skin look healthy. All you need is a little amount of gel; a pea size is enough, so this jar lasts for at least for 4 months. I started using serum from same brand, together they work amazing. My final word is that it is worth every penny and this is my HG product.
