Hi Beauty geeks, are you enjoying reading the posts on WiseShe? So there are some products in the market which are very much hyped and raved about of providing like ah-mazing results and the whole beauty world goes gaga over them. Though some of them are really worth the price-tag but there are some much raved and hyped products which aren’t worth the money we pay for them. So I consider this as my duty to prevent you from wasting your money let’s see what these products are. And most of the products may fall into the “SPLURGE” category if my darling Shivangi would have included them
Revlon Lip Butters
Claimed to have moisturizing properties like a lip balm and color pay off as a lipstick, everyone went crazy over these Lip Butters when they were launched in India. I wanted to try it so badly after hearing the name itself “LIP BUTTER” in my dreams I was dreaming of something that miraculously change my lips from dry to smooth and buttery . but when I tried it I found our very own Baby Lips better than that I mean the color pay off isn’t that great but atleast it gives my lips the hydration they need. Unlike the Baby Lips Balm Revlon Lip Butter made my lips flaky and chapped at the end of the day. And they smudge badly which I absolutely hate without considering it’s a hyped product.
Benefit They Are Real Mascara
:involve: Fantasizing name, aint it? I had bought a sample size of this mascara on my last outing at Sephora and I thought this may be one Mascara that I would purchase forever after seeing so many before and afters on Instagram of Benefit Cosmetics’ Instagram I was tempted. It came, I tried it out and then guess what my lashes look lengthened and volumed, and then it dried and clumped badly. I mean it was so bad that I was swiping my fingers on my lashes to get that mushy thing off.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch
What the hell is this? Is it a concealer or a highlighter I am still confused about it. YSL claims Touche Éclat “immediately erases any signs of fatigue” but its coverage is minimal at best. Touche Éclat just doesn’t get the job done at the dark circles as far as I have seen the review pictures (*unless you have very slight dark circles*). But I feel this would be great as a highlighter for the cheek bones and nose bridge etc. but under-eyes, are you kidding me? No one really knows what the product is but still raves about it. I mean you sure have to do that because you have spent 40$ on it . I am never going to get something 40 $ in my life which I can’t find out what it actually is
There are so so sooooooo many reviews in which people rave about this particular product of NARS. If you ask me I found nothing great in all products of NARS from that Orgasm line. I mean hyped and raved products are hyped because of their results and another major reason is that they aren’t dupable. That’s why people spend their hard earned money on those products. But this particular blush is pretty dupable. Not in the staying power though, but you may find a lot of blushes from other brands in similar color and may be average staying power. But they cost your pocket a tiny miny hole.
Diorskin Shimmer Star in Amber Diamond
If you don’t know what you’re doing then this product can make you look like no less than a disco ball. Though this product does the job of illuminating your face pretty darn good but so what? A lot of other products do the same at a very low price. It claims to give you a natural look but only if you’re perfect at what you’re supposed to do with this. So would you spend 45$ on a shimmer powder?
