I was walking down in the market when I saw this faces store and it invariably drew me to itself. I had a glance on the lipstick aisle and this shade got my attention. Light peachy orange it is! This may not be the best peachy orange I have considering other traits of the lipstick, but it is a good pick for those who want to buy this shade in budget range. Read on for the details!

My experience with Faces Go Chic Lipstick Prairie Pink:
It comes in the usual black packaging that faces go chick lipsticks have been coming in for years. The case is not so sturdy in these lipsticks but nowadays if you are getting a lipstick for 249 bucks that’s more than enough of a deal to get; seriously.
So now since you know the shade was the sole reason that made me buy this lipstick, let me elaborate on this. It is a peachy orange (and not a pink!) with some subtle shimmer in it. I know shimmer makes yours and mine ears go up but I noticed it only after getting this lipstick home. Although the shimmers are hardly noticeable, but you may still check carefully while buying for those of you who are highly allergic to shimmer. The shade would suit fair to medium skin tones and would look really pretty. It would not look as pretty on dusky beauties as deep oranges look.
Texture wise it is neither creamy smooth nor completely matte but somewhere in between. I would have liked it more if it would have been creamy. Another thing to take note of is that it would accentuate dry lips after some time of application. So you need to exfoliate your lips properly or else the lip skin would look flaky after some time. It goes almost opaque in one coat but you may build it up in 2-3 coats.
There is a medium sweet smell associated with this lipstick which being a sensitive nosed person, does not please me. It is completely subjective though; one of my friends likes it.
The staying power with this one is fairly good. It stays on for 3-4 hours after which you will have to remove and reapply. Reapplying on the previous remaining coat would cause the lip skin to flake off.
Overall, it is a pretty shade available at a very nominal price tag. People who are looking out to try this shade may start with this one as it goes really easy on the pocket. This would be my second recommendation for such a shade at budget price after lotus pure colors carnation lipstick.
What I like about Faces Go Chic Lipstick Prairie Pink:
- Pretty light peachy orange shade.
- Very decent pricing
- Stays on a for a fairly good time
- Would look flattering on fair to medium skin tones.
What I do not like about Faces Go Chic Lipstick Prairie Pink:
- Subtle shimmer which may be offending to some people. I myself would have preferred it sans shimmer.
- Sweet smell may or may not be liked by people.
- Accentuates dry lips.
- Packaging is not that sturdy.
Until next time take care!
