BLUSHES and BRONZERS, even a few days back I happily ignored these beauties. They were like real pain and no matter how much I tried, I could never understand where and how to apply. I ended up looking like a clown.
A few months ago, one of my friends got married and I was asked to do her makeup. I was sooo tensed. While shopping for her wedding, for the first time I wanted to buy a blush. I wanted a warm look for myself and for her as well on her day, and thus this blush came to our rescue. It is MAC Grand Duo blush in Earth to Earth.
My experience with MAC Mineralize Blush Earth To Earth:
Packaging: The blush comes housed in a traditional MAC black pot. Like other MAC blushes, it has neither a mirror inside, nor an applicator.
Shade: There is a blend of a warm coral-brown with minute golden shimmers and a highlighter which is a little bit plum, a little bit champagne. It brings out a couple of different colors, which looks unique and complementing. The plum and champagne veining is really beautiful, and when swirled together it gives a coral-brown flush of color which is very pretty on the cheeks. The shimmers are minute and are perfect to give a really nice sheen.
Texture: Very smooth satiny texture and finely-milled. It blends like dream to give a dewy, natural glow.
Pigmentation: It is very pigmented, and I fear of over doing it. One can really play with the intensity of this. Bring it up and bring it down however you need. It has been swiped only once in the picture beneath.
Staying Power: It is a longwearing product. I wore it for 10 hours at a stretch on the wedding day, and it was still there glowing on me. I neither sweat much, nor do I have an oily skin, maybe that is why it stayed on me for such a long span of time. But it would surely stay 8hours on average, proof is my friend ..She has oily skin.
So time to sum up my LIKES and DISLIKES:-

Final Thoughts (Recommendation/Repurchase):
The best thing which I like about this blush is versatility of it. I can use my fingers, I can use my brushes, I can use them dry and I can use them wet, I can use them on my cheeks and I can use them as eye shadows as well, I can use it on cheeks as blushes and for contouring too. Nice bright and intense shades clubbed together. Poppy, warm glow, great texture, long wearing and pigmented. I really really like the subtle, careless grace on my cheeks with MAC Earth to Earth. Highly recommended.
I would love to try more of these mineralized blush duos. Have you tried any of them??
