Monsoons are soon starting in India and I think everyone must be eagerly waiting for the rains to finally get some relief from the hot & humid climate. Here, summers are going to start and most of the schools have closed! I mean why did the vacations start this early!!! In my apartment, there are mostly Indians and almost everyone have kids, unluckily in front of my block there is playground where the kids play and shout the whole day.I am eagerly waiting for schools to re-open soon but as the summer holidays started just 3 days back..It is not happening so soon because summer holidays are generally 2-3 months here.
On an average almost 50-70 kids play in the park daily of all age groups. Sometimes I feel like I am seeing a school playground. Coming to review it’s a body scrub from The Body Shop.

It comes in a tub packaging similar to that of all TBS body butters and body scrubs. It has Cocoa picture on the cap. The cap closes tightly so no chance of spilling.Personally, I don’t like tub packaging as using it in the shower leads water going into the tub. I hope they revamp the packaging.
My Experience with The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub:
I have used TBS Cocoa body butter and I like it a lot, it is one of my favorites from TBS. It has amazing cocoa fragrance. Based on that I bought this scrub, but it didn’t had same fragrance as the body butter. It has a very mild cocoa fragrance which is not at all dominating.
To perfect describe it smells like play clay. It effectively removes dead skin cells and makes my body so smooth after each and every use. In severe winters of U.S east coast, my skin becomes so dry but with this my skin turns smooth and silky.
It doesn’t dissolves easily in shower like sugar scrubs. It doesn’t dries the skin after exfoliating but in fact it is very moisturizing and not at all greasy like citrus sugar scrub.
It is perfect for sensitive skin, even though granules are little bigger and evident but they are not harsh on the skin. It gets washed off from the skin easily in comparison to sugar scrubs.
It doesn’t irritates my skin at all. Only problem is that it is costly so I buy them during sale when they are almost at a half price. This is my best ever used body scrub and I am going to buy it again and again.
What I like about The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub:
- Removes dead skin completely.
- Makes skin smooth and silky.
- Smell is too good enough to eat.
- Granules are rough but not harsh.
- Removes easily from body.
- Doesn’t leave any greasiness.
- Didn’t irritate skin.
What I don’t like about The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub:
- Pricey if no sale.
- Tub Packaging.
- Not perfect Cocoa smell.
Wise She Rating: 4.5/5.
Would I Recommend: Yes. I would surely recommend it to you all.
