I have talked a lot about oily skin woes, mainly about acne problem. So, today I am sharing some great face packs for dry and sensitive skin. This idea hit me when my friend was all frustrated the other day as no face wash suits her the best. She has super dry skin which is sensitive too. If she switches frequently from an air conditioned room to the blistering heat outside, her skin gets wrinkled. I asked her to go green and try these face packs which i will be sharing with you guys too.
Here we go!
• Take an apple, blend or grate it to get a smooth puree, apply it on the skin for about 20 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Apple is an effective home remedy for dry skin. It contains potassium and tannin that are vital for maintaining the healthy texture of the skin. It removes dryness of the skin and makes it appear shinier and healthy.
• Mix 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado. Apply the mask to your face. Gently massage it into your skin and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water.
• Soak 3 to 4 almonds overnight in half a cup of milk. Grind into a fine paste and let them cool in the fridge. Apply on your face before going to bed and wash off the next morning to get softer smoother skin!
• Take 2 mashed bananas and add 2 tablespoon of honey in it. Mix well and apply on your skin. Leave it on for 20 mins and then wash off with warm water. Tone and moisturise as usual.
