How To Create Metallic Lips Easily
Hey beautiful people. Thank you all for appreciating my previous and the very first tutorial And the result of your appreciation is this post. I have managed to encourage myself enough to go on with this tutorial Well in my Lipstick experiment post some of you really liked the Metallic lips so I thought of giving it a try and here are the results in front of you
Apply a lip liner which matches your lipstick or any color which covers up your pigmentation so that the real color of your lipstick shows up. This is really important not only for your lipstick to last longer but also to shape them and give them an even tone.
Product used– Oriflame Lip Liner – Pink
This is a beautiful flesh toned pink color, which here is giving a little bit blue hints because of my lip pigmentation but it really does the job because it’s not over drying like other lip liners.
Apply your favourite lipstick on which you want to create the metallic effect, it can be any lipstick color of your choice. Try different colors the results will come out surprising. I have played it safe for the tutorial here by using a bright reddish pink color.
Product used: MAC Retro Matte Relentlessly Red Lipstick
A nice Carrot Pink which instantly brightens up the face and last for long long time.
Choose a shimmery eyeshadow of your choice and dab it gently all over your lips with a concealer brush for precise application, this is important because the final results depend hugely on this. I have chosen a deep mauvy sort of color because it is from the same color family so it will gel up with my lipstick pretty well. These sort of colors are generally part of those neutral palettes.
Product Used– A deep mauvy color from Accessorize Exposed Palette
These eyeshadows are smooth and silky but doesn’t last that long. But there’s no harm in using it on lips, as it will stay because of the lipstick.
Don’t worry about that fall out on my lips, I just have to dab it to make it even.
Apply a clear gloss of your choice and viola! Rock that pout now.
Take a lot of selfies and pair it with subtle eye makeup and a cream blush
I hope you all like it, fingers crossed!
And keep experimenting, Make-up is an art and we’re going to be the masters soon
