Pink Lips Pink Lips pal pal tujko karte miss…pink lips pink lips I know you want my baby lips na na na na na na, didn’t it sound like a promotional song for Maybelline baby lips? The baby lips and the pink lippy thing in the song made me go back to my lippie collection to get my pink lippie for the show today.
I found Party Pink and Bit of Berry next to each other, I have always read on blogosphere that both of these make great dupes for Mac Craving which is one of my favorites. Now, need I say why the Pink Lips song came in to existence?
The packaging is sturdy and classy with color coding caps which makes it easy to choose the shade from the stash.
This shade is a mix of plum plus pink with a touch of berry which in short can be called as a plummy pink shade. This has minuscule of fine shimmer that has zero effect in both hand and lip swatch. This shade is universally flattering, complements both cool and warm tones.
I extremely love the texture of this range, they glide on smoothly, doesn’t bleed or feather. It is neither moisturizing nor drying. You wouldn’t need a lip balm underneath. Most important of all, it doesn’t settle in fine lines.
The pigmentation is semi-opaque, the color is quite buildable and gives a sheeny gloss like finish with a clean sweep of color in 2-3 swipes. Not to forget, this covers pigmented lips too
The longevity is 3-4 hours without eating and drinking after which you may need touch ups.
What I like about Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick Party Pink:
- Sturdy, classy and travel friendly packaging
- Universally flattering shade
- Excellent texture that doesn’t bleed, feather or settle in fine lines
- Gives opaque coverage in 2-3 swipes, covers pigmented lips.
- Sheeny gloss like finish

- Value for money
What I dont like about Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick Party Pink:
- May wash out dusky tones
- No ingredient list
- Lipstick tube is not sealed
Price: 8$ (incl tax)
Dupe Alert: Makes a great dupe for MAC Craving
Will I Repurchase: Not this shade but many other from Colorsensational range.
Final Verdict: I have great love for Maybelline colorsensational range and majority of lipsticks from my stash are from this range. “Party Pink” in no way falls aside for my appreciation.
