My Experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
Packaging: The packaging is the normal Nivea lip balm packaging. I don’t like the cap it just comes out without any reason. Not suitable for keeping in my purse, the cap and the bullet always come apart.
Texture: The texture of this lip balm is awesome! It glides on smoothly and doesn’t require any effort. It is lovely!!!
Color and finish: It gives a lovely reddish tint to the lips and looks superb! It brightens up my face instantly!!! Though the shimmer is visible in the bullet, it goes totally unnoticed after application. I must mention here that I don’t like shimmery balms or even lipsticks. It gives a nice decent tint to the lips that is buildable. I have no pigmentation problem but I am sure this balm will take good care of hiding pigmentation too!
Staying power: Just like an ordinary lip balm, it stays for 2-3 hours but lips stay moisturised for long.
It will help in maintaining the softness of the lips but I don’t think it will help very chapped lips a lot.
What I like about Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
- Easily Available
- Lovely tint of red!
- Moisturizes well.
- No shimmers visible after application.
- Brightens up my face instantly!
- No obvious scent/fragrance.
- Coverage is buildable. Pigmented lips would love this!
- SPF 10 is the icing on the cake!
What I dont like about Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
- Non sturdy packaging. I expect it to stay intact at least.
- Average staying power. But that is the case with any other lip balm, right!
- Won’t help very chapped lips a lot.
I like this lip balm in spite of the cons and you might give this a try. Not the best one available, but I love the tint! I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wishes to try a tinted lip balm!
