Lately I have been in to pure indulgence with bold and bright shades, not consciously but I somehow pick the shades which are either coral orange or bright orangey reds and it is almost like there has to be orange in it for me to buy it. I want to get pass this phase because I already have too many orange shades in my stash, one such shade is Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish #12
Rimmel packaging is always a hit and this tube is classic red and black matte finish with Kate Moss color coding signature. It is sturdy and travel friendly.
It is a bright coral orange shade with hues of coral pink which isn’t picked by the camera. The coral pink undertones are more prominent on the lips than in hand swatch. It is rich and bold shade which screams summer. The lipstick has sweet fruity smell to it which may bother few.
It is creamy, glides on smoothly and doesn’t dry out lips unlike matte collection. This lipstick somehow feels uncomfortable on the lips until it sets and it takes close to an hour to set. Until it sets it feels like the lipstick has formed a layer or a film on top of your lips.
Longevity is decent for about 3-4hours and may need reapplication after eating and drinking. It leaves behind a coralish orangey pink tint which looks flattering on non-pigmented lips.
Unlike matte collection from Rimmel Kate Moss, I haven’t experienced any drying or flaking and it is moisturizing too. But, as usual with Rimmel lipsticks it does settle in fine lines. It is creamy so slight bleeding of the lipstick is possible, blot and re-apply technique comes in to rescue here.

Will I Repurchase: No (Not impressed with the texture and finish)
Final Verdict: Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish #12 is an amazing bright coral shade, perfect for summers. This shade flatters majority of Indian skin tones due to its coral pink undertones. Though it settles in to fine lines and takes long time to set, at this price the shade range actually opens doors to experiment.
