The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser
Hey girls, how are you all???
Well I am thoroughly in love with the monsoons but ever since I have started writing for wiseshe I have seen my likings lowering for the lovely season… Any guesses why??? Give your answers in the comments below!!!
Today I am back again with a review on a cleanser by The Nature’s Co. This was a part of my Beauty Wish Box June Edition. So far I have had a very nice experience with my June box but this product somehow did not impress me much
About The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser:
Nourishes and volumizes the hair; Removes excess oil and impurities to reveal a fuller & healthier head of hair.
Put the bounce back into your hair with the goodness of Barley. It is rich in pro-vitamin B5 which strengthens and nourishes the hair shaft and root. Its anti-oxidant and protective properties remove excess oil and impurities to reveal a fuller, healthier head of hair. Apply a small amount and gently massage into the hair and scalp area. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary. Because it is natural and gentle, it may be used daily.
Ingredients: Barley extract,Pro-Vitamin B5, Apple cedar vinegar, Aloe Vera extract.
Price: Rs.695 for 250ml.
Shelf Life: 18 months.
Packaging: I got a sample of the Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser in a smaple size bottle of 15ml. The sample bottle is a square shaped bottle of translucent plastic with a cream colored cap that screw opens. The bottle for sale is also a tall square shaped bottle made of translucent plastic with a cream colored screw able cap that has a brown colored part that flip opens and is meant for dispensing g the product out.
Texture: The cleanser is cream in colored. It has got a very runny consistency. The consistency may at times be tough to handle if the bottle is tilted carelessly.
Smell: The review could not have been complete without the mention of its smell. The cleanser has a regular herbal kind of fragrance but it smells sweet, which is nice thing, and I personally like the fragrance.
My Take: Before I proceed any further let me first tell you all about my hair quality. I have got those thick wavy-curly tresses with heavy volume. I really can’t say if I have curly or wavy hair because they always behave on their own rules & mood and never let me understand them.
I remember the days when I used to beg to god to please give me hair fall and lesser down my hair volume and now since I have grown and lost almost half of my volume, all I do is to repent for praying so, I am such a fool
So basically this hair cleanser was not made for my hair type but still I gave it a try.
The very first thing that appealed to me post opening the bottle was its sweet aroma and the very next moment as I tilted the bottle I was left with a panic expression… Ohhhh what do I do now, so much of product has come out!!! The very runny consistency just makes the product ooze out crazily.
Coming to my usage experience, since I don’t have limp hair, I did not expect much from this product.
The cleanser does not lathers well and makes you feel like more product is required, but it will not lather much no matter how much quantity you take. It cleans the scalp well but for oiled hair two-three washes will be required.
The sad part is it made my hair frizzy and I even felt a bit of dryness.
So overall this product may work for that straight limp hair but for normal to thick hair this is certainly not the product.
What I like about The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser:
- Natural Ingredients.
- Does not contain SLS.
- Smells Sweet.
- Cute Packaging.
What I don’t like about The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser:
- Made Hair frizzy and dry.
- Very Runny consistency.
- Does not lather well.
Rating: 3/5. I could have underrated it but gave this cleanser a benefit of doubt as it was not meant for my hair type.
Will I Recommend: Only oily limp hair may try since it cleans well and takes away the oil from scalp but others please stay away.
