New Street Wear Color Rich Kajal Review
Hope you remember my Streetwear Sneak Peek post which I did a while back! Well, we have already started covering the lipstick range individually since few days. I happened to try the new launched Kajal from Streetwear cosmetics and here is the detailed review of the product.
About New Streetwear Color Rich Kajal
The new launched Kajal is more like the usual kajal pencils from Lakme, which is not retractable like the present day kajals and has a sharpener along to sharpen the tip of this kajal pencil.
Price– INR 99 for 2.5g
This kajal pencil is like any regular kajal pencil with a black body. The cap has the cute girl graphic and it makes the product quite attractive. There comes a sharpener along with this kajal so you don’t need to buy one in case you don’t have!
Shade & Texture-
This kajal crayon is quite intense when swatched on the hand but it doesn’t come out that intense on the waterline and it smudges a lot.It gives a black shade with slight grey undertones on the waterline.
The texture is really creamy which causes the smudging. I would recommend to use it with very light hand as the tip tends to get easily applied with the slightest pressure of the fingers.
Fragrance- The kajal has typical camphor fragrance as that of the homemade kajals. The fragrance is mild and it will surely not irritate the eyes.
My Experience with New Street Wear Color Rich Kajal-
Well, Kajal has been my first love and this was the first thing I started using when I was in Vth standard itself!
So far my experience with this Kajal crayon has been pretty average because of the excessive smudging. The hand swatch looks quite promising but sadly when you apply it on the waterline, it doesn’t come out that neatly and gives an untidy look to the waterline.
The sharpener provided with this Kajal is not so useful as it doesn’t gives the perfect sharp tip. You can see in the video review that I have used up almost one-third of this crayon in getting the perfect tip!
It can be easily used for a smoky eye makeup as the creamy texture tends to blend easily. It can be ideally applied on the upper lash line for the winged liner look.
The cute packaging surely gets a thumbs up from me. It can be easily removed with a good makeup remover as the kajal is quite creamy.
Although, this kajal is quite cheap, I will certainly not recommend this unless you cannot afford kajal pencils from L’Oreal or Maybelline.
As for me, I love my Lakme, Loreal & Maybelline kajals more than this, on any given day!
Here is the video review.I am trying to learn video making although I need to improve a lot here. Do pour in your suggestions about the lighting and all. Also please keep in mind I have a 2 year old toddler at home
