Diwali is the most important festival in India and now it is not just about Diyas and Pujas, it is also about how you look on this festival. Mere buying a new dress is not it, you got to style yourself too in the most stylish yet elegant manner.
Today in this article we shall know about some styling tips for this diwali:
So you have chosen to wear a saree this Diwali!!! Wow a great choice, Saree is one ethnic attire that can never get you go wrong. You wear it in the most traditional way and then also in a new modern way.
For this diwali I would just that you should opt for those semi stitched sarees which has butterfly like pallus. These sarees add grace to your look and at the same time are comfortable too and you need not worry about lots of safety pins and pallu handling.
These sarees are gonna be your savior this Diwali, they are easy to carry, safe for diwali (ease in handling while burning crackers) and looks very elegant.
This Diwali give some space to traditional anarkali suits and opt for Indo Westerns.
They are oh so classy, perfect blend of tradition and modern culture and are way too easy to be carried in comparison to the traditional anarkalis.
You can also choose those indo western kurtis. They are my favorites these days.
For styling these indo westerns, try to go free and ditch the dupattas, instead accessorize them well with embellished broche and accessories.
The trend of long skirts is back this year and this is a much loved trend I must say.
Why bother for those heavy lehengas that need a lot of effort to be carried when you can have an elegant look with the trending ethnic long skirts. Pair them with short well fitted kurtis and tada you have a new trend well set for you.
Choose your footwears according to your inner self personality. What do I mean with it?
I meant is if you have that bubbly personality who runs to and fro burning crackers, stilettos are not a good choice. In this case you can choose “mojris” or flats.
Mojris will really go well with long skirts.
And on the other hand if you are someone who has a persona that enjoys lights and diyas, you can go versatile with stilettos and wedges.
Eye makeup is crucial when it comes to overall styling and makeup. Though it is a festival of lights, but while styling yourself for Diwali try and play with some color for your eye makeup.
Not so good with eye makeup!!! Worry not wiseshe has got many tutorials for you learn the art and flaunt it with confidence.
When you have chosen to go dramatic with eye makeup, there is no need to go overboard with lip makeup. Go for muted or pink lips.
If you have chosen to keep your eyes simple, then red is the way for you to go. Red lips are always hot and so is the case for this diwali.
Makeup not Made up
Until and unless there is not much need, please do not opt for heavy coverage makeup. And also ensure that your makeup does not have spf, else your photograph will not be as nice as they should be.
Try using a light coverage makeup, and blend it well so that you do not look made up.
So you found necklaces missing from the list!!!
Yes they are missing for a reason, adorn the gorgeous heavy earrings this diwali and give a break to those heavy necklaces.
Do not miss on your wrist accessories choose for those lovely metallic bangles, they will jest up your whole look, alternatively you can also choose some gorgeous bracelets.
We often tend to miss anklets in all the chores related to diwali. But you should not miss them. Get yourself some charming anklet to charm your feet.
Updos and messy braids are hit this season and at the same time these hairstyles go well with any attire be it traditional or western. You all must surely love these trending hairstyles and adorn them this Diwali since they go well with the theme of this festival.
You can stay free without those bothering flicks coming your way while burning crackers or lightening the diyas.
Since I told you guys that updos and braids are totally in this festive season. Glam up your hairstyles with some gorgeous hair accessories.
These were some easy tips to style yourself this Diwali.
