Ritika reviewed this stunning and subtle shade of eye shadow and from the rating itself it is easy to understand that this is surely worth a grab. This is a great eye shadow for beginners as the eye shadow is actually in a paint form which can be easily applied on the eyelids with a sponge applicator provided along.
The shade Chestnut taupe is a metallic taupe shade which doesn’t looks gritty at all and the metallic finish remains like that for really long hours.
Navneet reviewed this beautiful apricot shade from Rimmel. One of the most easy things about this paint stick is that you don’t need many tools for achieving a sober eye makeup. The sponge applicator itself is enough for giving a suitable look although it is not that great in quality.
The peachy apricot shade when applied gives a lovely sheen on the eyes and barely looks evident. Pairing it with black eye liner will accentuate the eye look and eyes look really alluring.
Another one from Rimmel was recently reviewed by Ritika and this time it was an intense black shade which made it a little difficult to work with and get an eye look. Although it is an intense black shade but the poor pigmentation and gritty texture makes it not suitable to apply. The uneven swatch itself gives you an idea of how the shade would end up looking on the eyes.
The major disappointment which this shade is that layering surely evens out the pigmentation to an extent but forms an artificial flaky layer over eye lids which doesn’t look good at all.
The latest review on Wise She is another pigmented shade in slate grey which is gritty and has visible shimmers. The grey is more closer to grey with cool undertones of a metallic blue shade. The metallic finish is long staying which is another great thing about this product apart from the unique feature of eye shadow paint.
This shade is particularly good for the smoky look with slight blending technique. Also the pigmentation is quite even and so it gets darker if one tends to layer it up so be careful with that. And be quick with the blending as the shade gets dried up pretty fast!
Well, in my opinion the subtle shades in this range fare considerably well than the intense shades due to the uneven application thingy! Overall, these are great if you get the right shades as per your skin tone and are also really economical in pricing. One can surely keep looking out for other interesting products like these.
