I own a good amount of Chambor products and most of them are matte lipsticks. But I wont be talking about any matte on today’s review but rather an unusual finish as described by Chambor and it is the Silk Touch Lipstick in the shade 660 Silk Flame.

My take on Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick 660 Silk Flame:
Like the new revamped matte lipsticks by Chambor that I had reviewed earlier, Silk touch too has a similar packaging. It comes in a sleek black tube but with the rose logo printed at the front. A black sticker with the name is labeled below the tube. The tube is very sturdy and clicks lock great while travelling.
Color: 660 Silk Flame is a beautiful brown color with red undertones. It is a universally flattering shade for all skin tones. It can be worn during the day as well as in the night. There are a total of 18 shades available to choose from the range. Honestly, I am not a brown lippy fan but I like this one though since I can play around with the pigmentation and can wear it as a stain.
Pigmentation: 660 Silk Flame scored high in the pigmentation department. I have swiped a single coat on the lip swatch below for a day look. For an evening look, I would recommend putting on two coats.
Texture: The name given is apt for this product because it does feel exactly like silk. The formula is so creamy and buttery while application making my lips feels soft and supple. It works like a lip balm but with a whole lot of pigments. There is no question of tugging or pulling. There is no creasing as well. Smoothly glides on like a dream and an awesome hydration for my dry pout!
Staying power: Since it has a creamy texture, the lipstick is not long lasting. It stays 2 to 3 hours on me. And no, it doesn’t survive any meal due to the silky finish. A reapplication is required every 2 to 3 hours.
Smell: Has a Shea butter aroma. I love it!
