My experience with Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Wine Festival:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a shiny black plastic packaging and the cap click shuts firmly. The packaging actually takes you to the days when usually all lipsticks had this black colored rectangular packaging, typical old school types.
The best feature of the packaging of this lipstick is the shiny colored band that shows the color family of the lipstick.
The color coded stickers at the bottom of the lipstick makes it easy to detect the color in your stash
Texture: The lipstick has a very soft, creamy and smooth texture. This shade is without any shimmer in it. This lipstick is applied effortlessly on lips. It gives a finish which is not exactly frosty, but is creamy-glossy kinds.
Shade: It is a deep wine shade with red-maroon undertones to it, which makes this shade a little dark and intense. The shade will flatter medium to deeper skin tones more than the fair skin tones.
Pigmentation: This shade is insanely pigmented, it provide opaque coverage in a single swipe. Two swipes will give even application. The lippy does not bleed nor does it give a sticky feel to the lips. The lipstick is very light in feel.
My Take: This lippy is a deep wine shade and has opaque coverage. The creamy texture is super smooth and is very easy to apply. The application process is total breeze.
Again this lippy too transfers a lot but this is not what bothers me. The lippy starts to fade of from the centre of lips first and then from the rest of the lips, such uneven fading looks embarrassing. The lippy stays for some 2-3 hours and leaves a patchy stain behind.
