My experience about Sleek MakeUP Matte Me Lip Gloss Petal:
Packaging: This lip gloss comes in a classy rectangular cuboid glass tube with an applicator brush attached to the cap. The cap screw opens & closes and is leak proof. The sponge applicator looks decent and is not very bushy. It enables easy application. The necessary details about the gloss are mentioned on the tube itself.
Texture: It is creamy in texture and easily spreads on lips, but within few seconds it sets to a completely matte finish. The matte texture is a bit drying. The gloss sets like a matte lipstick not like any gloss actually.
Shade: The shade petal appears to be a very pale pink shade. It is like a light baby pink shade which is just not for the dull face day. The shade will look good on lighter skin tones. The shade can make you look pale.
Pigmentation: Since it is light shade, the lip gloss needs two swipes to get even color on lips. With the two swipes one needs to be quick since the lip gloss sets to a matte finish quickly.
My Take: Just as its name Matte Me Lip Gloss, it is a gloss which applies like a gloss and sets absolutely to a matte finish within few seconds which is nowhere even close to a gloss’s finish.
The matte finish that it sets into dries out lips and girls already with dry lips may feel very uncomfortable with this matte gloss. Since I do not have dry lips, so its drying tendencies did not bother me much. The gloss settles into fine lines so always be sure to exfoliate your lips before its application.
The shade petal looks pale on me so I apply the Fandango purple lip gloss on top of it, this combo of two lip glosses turns out to be really good. But while topping the other gloss one needs to be very quick as it settles to matte finish within few seconds and will not mix in well, giving you a streaky look.
While applying the gloss one needs to be very careful and have a steady hand, because it is difficult to correct any mistake as the gloss sets to a matte finish really quick. The gloss is absolutely transfer resistant. The gloss stays put for around 8 hours on me, but just in case if you have meal with this gloss on, then you might just need a touch up or remove it completely, since the lip gloss after a meal fades off unevenly which looks bad.
Overall it is an okay lip gloss, however I like Fandango Purple lip gloss more, you can see in the picture that how good this shade looks,

What I Like About Sleek MakeUP Matte Me Lip Gloss Petal:
- Sleek & Sturdy Packaging
- Decent applicator.
- Does not transfer at all.
- Stays for really long.
- The absolute matte finish will be very adored by matte lovers.
What I Don’t Like About Sleek MakeUP Matte Me Lip Gloss Petal:
- A strict no for dry lips, may make dry lips very uncomfortable.
- Fades off unevenly.
- Settles into fine lines.
- Any misapplication is difficult to correct.
- The shade looks pale and will not suit medium to deep skin tones.
Will I Recommend: Matte lip colors lovers may definitely give it a try but I firmly advice girls with dry lips to stay away from this.
