5 Main Causes Of Grey Hair At Young Age
Graying of hair is normal as we age; when hair follicles lose their pigments or rather stop producing the pigments which give the color to our hair. Melanin as they say, we always worry about the melanin depositing in wrong places and hope that the pigments stay at hair follicle bases in our head instead of showing there vigor on our facial skin.
White hair at a young age, there can be nothing more annoying and embarrassing than that. Premature graying can be the result of multiple factors. Graying of hair at an early age CAN be a signal of your degrading health. It is an alarm you shouldn’t ignore.
Lets see what are the main causes of grey hair at a young age.
Genes play a major role in early graying. If your mother or father had their white hairs at a young age, then there are chances you’ll face similar problems too. There is unfortunately nothing you can do with that, but a balanced diet and proper lifestyle can help you postpone the problems.
Premature graying can be a result of vitamin deficiency, especially Vitamin B12. A balanced diet helps in maintaining a great health and great hair. Consume food rich in protein and vitamins, especially rich in Vitamin B12, like tuna, salmon, lamb, beef, cheese, milk and other dairy products.
We all know that our Thyroid glands produce hormones, and when our thyroid glands fail to produce enough hormones, we suffer from hypothyroidism (where hypo means under or reduced, plus thyroid), also often called underactive thyroid or low thyroid and sometimes hypothyreosis. Too little iodine is the main cause if hypothyroidism. So if you are suffering from hypothyroidism, you know what to do now..!!
If we ponder upon this carefully, we’ll see that the root cause of maximum problems we face in life is due to stress and tension, be it in professional life or personal. Stress has increased the melanin in our skin, and has decreased the melanin from our hair. Bitter Truth..!!
Platinum streaks on your head can also be the result of your unhealthy habits such as smoking, drinking etc. Researches show that a person who smoke and drink often tend to have white hair earlier than a person who doesn’t.
