My take on Sigma Gel Eye Liner in Standout Peacock:
Packaging: Sigma gel liners come in sturdy thick glass pot with a screw on cap with it. Shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the pot. Brand name is embossed at the top of the screw cap. List of complete ingredients can be seen mentioned in the outer carton alongwith manufacturing, quantity and other details. I wish a gel liner was provided with it like Maybelline and L’Oreal gel liners. One can also buy all the 6 shades of gel liners together in a kit from Sigma site, it is provided with gel liner brushes.
Pigmentation: Sigma gel liner in Standout Peacock is a richly pigmented shade. With two swipes I get awesome results and do not need to layer much product. I have more shades from this range and all shades have varying pigmentation
Shade: Shade Standout peacock is a gorgeous blackened teal blue shade. It is extremely difficult to find an exact dupe of this shade, it is a unique shade and I feel a must have from the entire range. Many of my friends want to wear blue liners but stay away from them, they wear black and browns for their work place. Such a blackened teal blue shade will be a hit among all the people. It is a great choice for people who want to wear blue but do not want to make it look too obvious or bright.
Some 6 shades are there in this range.
- Standout Peacock: Blackened teal blue
- Royally Striking: Bright popping purple shade
- Unexpected: Greyish shade.
- Wicked: Intense black
- Liberally Toasted: Dark brown shade
- Stunningly Ladylike: Light brown shade
Texture & Finish: These liners are soft and super creamy. They feel like butter and I can draw precise lines with them. They do not take much time for drying up. I need some two swipes for intense pigmentation with this shade. Other shades from this range are sheer and need more swipes. This never gets streaky but if one applies more than two swipes this fades unevenly. It comes with complete matte finish. It does not dry up soon in pot.
Staying Power: This is the only issue I have with these gel liners. These are water resistant but not complete smudgeproof. This liner has a tendency of melting and smudging in humid weather. I am highly disappointed with its staying power and uneven fading and smudging issues. Even in winters, it stayed fresh for only 3-4 hours and then started fading. Even drugstore brand gel liners stay for longer hours. I really cannot trust this range for wearing it for important functions as they are bound to ditch me.
Availability: Available at Sigma website and Luxola shopping site.

My Overall Recommendation: They are some 6 amazingly funky shades in gel liner range from Sigma in matte finish.
