So I am back here with another review from the Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm collection. Pink Guava was quite a popular lip balm variant of Nivea Fruity Shine collection but I find that the newer versions are slightly different from the older ones.

My experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Pink Guava:
Packaging: This tinted lip balm by Nivea comes in white plastic body that work with retractable mechanism and has color coded caps. There is nothing very new in the packaging other than the imprinted image of the respective fruit variant. I quite like the slant shape of the cap actually, which makes it look a little better than the years old horizontal cap packaging.
Texture: It has a balmy texture, which in any way it is supposed to have. It is very light on lips and feels absolutely non-sticky even after multiple swipes. It has very fine shimmer particles which add a gorgeous shine to lips and are not at all chunky.
Fragrance: Pink Guava has a very yummy and fruity guava fragrance which is not overwhelming, instead is very pleasing to senses. I like the yummy flavor a lot.
Tint Pay Off: I have used the earlier version of Pink Guava and I can bet that this new version lacks color pigment. I adored the older version for its color but this time all I had was the slightest of peachy pink tint. However it is buildable with many swipes, but who would want more than four swipes on lips only for the tint.
My Take: To start with I would like to mention that I would have like this lip balm more only if I had not used the older pink guava lip balm.
The lip balm has a very fabulous texture and fragrance. The lip balm looks quite deep in shade in the bullet but on lips they go sheer, nevertheless it still has some considerable amount of tint which looks very subtle and beautiful.
The silver shimmer particles in it are very evident, if you have a closer look to my hand swatches and lip swatches, you will notice how obvious do these shimmers look. Of course I do not like it.
It moisturizes lips and keeps them moisturized for good 3 hours. But this will certainly not work in healing dry and chapped lips.
What I Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Pink Guava:
- Nice, sturdy packaging.
- Light texture.
- Amazing fruity fragrance.
- Shimmer particles add beautiful shine to lips.
- Yummy guava fragrance.
What I Don’t Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Pink Guava:
- Will not heal dry and chapped lips.
- Needs re application after every 3 hour.
- Shimmer particles are very evident on lips.
Will I Recommend: If you are on a look out for an economic subtle peachy pink tint lip balm which keeps lips moisturized and makes them look supple, then you should definitely check this lip balm.
