Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation 200 Soft Beige
I am back with a little bit more of Rimmel, last time I reviewed the loose powder, now I am going to tell you about this Matte foundation, which is my recent found. I like Matte make up as too glossy makes my face look rather funny. Matte some what makes it more subtle and flawless. One thing I usually notice is, that Brit girls put on lot of foundation, sometimes making it look cakey and sometimes I hate to say, that it is just wrong, it is either many shades lighter or darker, or the blusher is making the skin looked too baked, which sometimes is not appeasing.
So with Matte, you have to be careful, that the skin is moisturized and that there is not a whole lot of matte stuff on your face making you outright funny. May be a hint of glossy lip color can do the work.

My experience with Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation 200 Soft Beige:
The Mate foundation is a dry kind of foundation, thus having a moisturized skin is a must otherwise say hello to dry patchy skin. I like the coverage it gives, it looks very natural but if you wish to apply a loose powder or compact it is totally your own call, considering your skin type. Since I have dry skin, I don’t need to use any powder to set it in.
The coverage is medium to high, the shade Soft beige is perfect my skin type. Rimmel has good and reliable shades for Indian skin tones. Somehow, I have not seen that in L’Oreal shades available here in the UK.
Over all, the foundation has good staying power, it does suit me, even though I have dry skin. All I need is have my skin prepared before.
The foundation is something which can be used for day outs and it would suit Indian skin tones.
What I like about Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation 200 Soft Beige:
- Sets in easily,
- Suitable for Indian skin tones,
- Works perfect over a moisturized skin,
- Medium to high coverage,
- Lasts for about 6-7 hours.
What I dislike about Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation 200 Soft Beige:
- Can be drying, thus a loose powder on top won’t work.
