Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine Lip Gloss Apricot Shine
Hey gorgeous people,
This is a total so not me types of review!!!
Confused? As many of you already must know that I am a great Red and Bright lip colors fan and Matte lipsticks are something that get me drooling. I am not at all a gloss person and I do not wear much of nude shades, infact you will rarely a find a real nude in my stash.
Wiseshe has taught me to experiment with my looks, so this time I opted for a nude shade and took a nude gloss by Lakme. A gloss because I was highly susceptible if I will like the shade or not, and will give it to my sister in the later case since she uses glosses.
I have missed things to share about this nude lip gloss by Lakme.

My experience with Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine Lip Gloss Apricot Shine:
Packaging: This lip glosses comes in a sleek, long, transparent bottle which has a sponge applicator attached to its metallic silver cap that screw open. The applicator does a decent job in picking up the right amount of product and allows easy application.
Texture: Despite of being a gloss it is more on a creamy side, more like a lip crème actually. It is non sticky and is not very heavy on lips.
Shade: Apricot Shine is a peachy nude shade with very fine golden shimmer. The shimmers are very very fine, so much so that they are hardly visible in swatches but can be seen with a closer look in person.
Color Pay Off: It has a good color pay off. A single swipe easily covers every bit of lip pigmentation.
My Take: I was in two minds before purchasing this lip gloss, and I am still.
The texture and packaging have proven to be winners here. The non sticky texture and the sleek packaging is great. The sponge applicator too works fine in spreading the product evenly on lips.
Coming to the shade I can say that this will not suit most skin tones, me being no exception here. Though this shade photographs decently on me, but in person I look weird with this gloss on.
This gloss is great for fair complexions who adore doing smokey eyes. Pairing this lip gloss with smokey eyes on fair skins is the only way to do justice to this gloss.
Lakme claims a 6 hour stay for this gloss, but it stayed on me for a mere 2.5 hour duration with mild snacking in between.
What I Like About Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine Lip Gloss Apricot Shine:
- Creamy texture.
- Sleek packaging.
- Decent sponge applicator.
- Good color pay off.
What I Don’t Like About Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine Lip Gloss Apricot Shine:
- Will not suit most skin tones.
- Stays for only 2.5 hours.
Will I Recommend: Recommended only to fair skins who love pairing dense smokey eyes with nude glosses.
