Carbonated water is made by using pressure to dissolve carbon dioxide gas in water. This water has low pH levels that help fight frizz caused by humidity. After you wash your hair, give them a final rinse with carbonated water. This will help eliminate frizz, but only with regular usage for some time.
Mayonnaise & Avocado Conditioner
An avocado-based hair mask is an effective remedy to control and treat frizzy hair. The high vitamin E content in avocado helps tame the frizz. Check with your finger if the oil has the right temperature, apply it to your scalp, massage and cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes. Follow up shampoo.
Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
Oils are great moisture sealer and also condition hair. Olive oil and coconut oil work best for frizzy hair. You can add them to your hair masks, use them individually for hot oil massages or also use a mix of these.
Raw Egg & Olive Oil Treatment
Whisk one raw egg and mix in a spoonful of olive oil. Egg yolk is rich in fats and proteins, and is naturally moisturizing. Egg whites contain enzymes that kill bacteria and remove unwanted oils. Meanwhile, the olive oil acts as en emollient that locks the moisture into your hair. Lemon contains vital vitamins and minerals that promote healthy hair, while honey is considered the ultimate moisturizer. Mix two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and honey and dilute it with a cup of water and mix it well. Apply it on freshly washed hair. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash with warm water and a mild shampoo.
The rich content of natural oils, potassium, carbohydrates and vitamins in Bananas makes it a great hair conditioner. Bananas lock in moisture to soften and add shine to your hair and help prevent and repair split ends. Mash one ripe banana with a fork until there are no lumps. Mix in one-fourth cup of yogurt. Then add two tablespoons each of honey and olive oil. Apply the mask all over your hair and scalp. Put a shower cap over your hair and leave it on for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse your hair and then shampoo and condition as usual. Do this once a week. If you are not very much prone to dry hair then you can skip honey and olive oil, banana and yogurt together will do the trick for you.
Coconut milk works as a natural light protein and moisture treatment for the stubborn frizzy hair. Extract coconut milk from the flesh of the coconut or choose the one available in the market. Take two tablespoons of coconut milk in a small pot and heat it until warm. Make sure it does not get too hot. Now apply the warm coconut milk on your hair and cover your head with a towel. Leave it on overnight and wash your hair in the morning with shampoo and let your hair dry naturally. Repeat this twice a week to enjoy shiny and bouncy hair.
