10 New Lakmé Enrich Satin Lipsticks Photos & Swatches
Lakme has finally decided to pay some attention to its “Enrich Satins” lipsticks’ range. Well the first quarter of this year has witnessed two major new launches by Lakme, the new sculpt studio lipsticks and the new enrich stain lipsticks. Actually the enrich satins are not exactly new but are indeed a revamped launch.
Enrich Satins are one of the most popular lipstick ranges in India but the traditional boring packaging was somewhat making it loose its charm. Lakme just in the right phase of time decided to revamp these lipsticks and make them more luring. In addition to the revamped packaging Lakme also launched ten new shades to make the revamped launch all the more special.
I have swatched all the ten lipsticks for you. There is no red in the new shades. The fragrance and the texture remained same just like the older Enrich Satins and it is just the packaging that has been played with.
Have a look.

Packaging: As you all must know that earlier the enrich satin lipsticks by Lakme used to come in a mauve plastic bullet and an old school types outer carton box packaging but now it is all sturdy and attractive. The new enrich satins come in metallic silver bullets which are encased in transparent plastic body. The packaging is really sturdy and travel friendly; moreover it looks classy unlike the lipsticks’ packaging priced at or near INR 260 that we usually see.
Texture: Just like their name, these lipsticks have a very silky, smooth texture which sets to a satiny finish. They glide on lips like butter and yet they do not bleed or budge easily.
This range now has a total of 80 shades, however there is no upgrade done on the Lakme’s official site, but I truly trust the SA of Lakme and she says that now the collection has 80 shades inclusive of the ten new shades.
The ten new shades follow the same tradition of having numbers rather than having shade names. I really wish that these cuties should have been given names rather than the hard to remember numbers. The new ten shades are-
- P163: It is a bright and vibrant plum shade with heavy pink undertones.
- P164: It is a summery coral orange shade.
- P165: It is a warm toned coral pink shade.
- P166: It is a blue based bright pink shade.
- P167: I am not very sure about this shade, but I would call this shade has a frosty caramel pink shade.
- P168: It is a gorgeous plum shade with the perfect blend of purple and pink.
- P169: This shade is a hot pink shade which looks at times a bit neonish depending upon the lights.
- P170: This is the purple from this range.
- P172: It is a milky pink shade which very fine shimmers.
- P171: It is a cool fuchsia shade.
All the shades in this range have shimmers apart from two or three shades. These have the same old weird fragrance. If I were to take comparison of the shade range of the new launched sculpt and these, then I would say that the sculpt lipsticks range have got a better shade range than this. I so wish that there was a red and brick shade in this range too.
Which one did you like the most among these new Lakmé Enrich Satin Lipsticks?
