10 MAC Neutral Toned Lipsticks
Lipstick has always been one of the most important and basic cosmetics used by women throughout the world.
As a brand MAC do not need any explanation or advertisement. People are hoarding their lipsticks crazily since years and MAC’s regular price hikes haven’t hampered their craze. Though sometimes I feel some of their lipsticks are not worth those thousands and thousands bucks, but some of their shades are definitely worth every penny.
The choice of lipstick color reflects women’s personality and confidence. There are many women who tend to stick with neutral colors.
So, here goes the list of MAC’s best neutral lip shades.
MAC Touch is a light brown color lustre finish lipstick. It has lots of lustre that extenuates the lips and gives the fuller lips effect. The color is very natural and again one of those “don’t think just wear” shade.
Mac describes Crème in your Coffee as “a creamy, mid-tone Pink-Brown”. Buttery-smooth and glides without tugging even on dry lips. It is beautifully pigmented and gives near-opaque coverage in a single swipe.
The shade is a neutral type. It suits the fair complexions beautifully. It looks very natural on the lips. The texture is creamy matte.
This color is as a lovely neutral pink. The lipstick is very creamy and glides on very smoothly. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and is very smooth on application. This lipstick stays for around 4-5hrs. Even after meals, it retains a nice hint of pink.
Viva Glam V is a nude pink brown shade that is pretty much neutral. For the same reason, this is one shade that will look gorgeous on both cool and warm skin tones. The texture is soft and the lipstick glides on smoothly without any tugging or pulling. It deposits color evenly.
Looking for a hot nude shade which doesn’t look like a concealer or you have pigmented lips which made you think you will never be able to pull nude lips then try MAC Half and half. It rocks!
It is a sheer neutral Pink. You know how most neutrals are either invisible or brown or a more opaque pink?? Well, Patisserie is a sheer, flesh toned neutral pink which is a very MLBB shade. It has no shimmer whatsoever, but being a Lustre finish lippy, it does give a glossy look.
Light beige with traces of pink. An absolutely perfect lipstick for their nude collection. The color is completely opaque and happily covers all dark patches on lips. The lipstick glides over my lips with butter and works pretty well on my dry lips too.
Kim Kardashian’s favorite, MAC describes this shade as a soft pinky nude in a frost finish. It has medium coverage but can be layered for a more opaque look. This is quite creamy and smooth.
Mac describes this lipstick as “flesh pink”. It is one of those few nude lipsticks that have pink undertone. It is lightweight and glossy. It gives a nice glossy look to my lips thus eliminating the need for balm or lip gloss.
