Texture- The texture is creamy and easily glides on the lips without tugging. The main concern is that these lipsticks are drying and a lip balm or primer is essential before hand to make the shade look better on primed lips.
It is a bold and bright deep red shade with a pure matte finish. The texture of this lipstick is rich and creamy and tends to give a pigmented color in the swatch. It is one highly pigmented shades from the range and leaves a strong lip stain after it fades. It settles in the fine lines and a lip primer is essential.
It is a really pretty Nude shade with creamy light brown hint. The shade is rich, creamy and highly pigmented to cover the darkness of the lips. The shade is pure matte and looks very creamy when applied on the lips. But it settles in the fine lip lines so lip exfoliation is quite essential.
This is a blue toned light pink shade which I don’t think will look flattering on olive skin tones but will suit pale complexions more. It washes me out and the lip color settles in the fine lines which is not a pleasant sight.
This is more of a candy pink shade with bright hue of hot pink/ fuchsia in it. The shade looks quite decent on olive skin tones and looks very fresh. It is essential to exfoliate and prime your lips well to carry such a pretty shade without any imperfections as the shade settles in the fine lines.
One of my favorite shade from the range, this is a deep plum berry shade which is gorgeously pigmented in a single swipe and easily hides any lip pigmentation due to the completely opaque coverage. I love this shade to the core. Creamy and glossy matte finish make it an absolute favorite.
A stunning tomato red shade from the range and is surely one of the best shades from the range. It instantly brightens up the face and I am sure olive skin tones will equally be able to flaunt this shade any given day!
This is more of a sheer plum shade with pink undertones. Contrary to the matte shades, this one is a sheer lip color and has fine shimmers which are little chunky. It will appeal to those who like shimmer gloss lipsticks. Also it has medium pigmentation and so it will easily hide dark lips with 2-3 swipes.
Lastly, the shade Fuchsianista which is a stunningly pigmented hot fuchsia shade and will perfectly compliment olive skin tones. The lipstick is very creamy and opaque in a single swipe. One doesn’t need a second swipe to hide dark lips due to its amazing pigmentation.
So, these were ll the eight shades on my NC42 skin tone and will be apt for all the Indian olive complexion beauties! Which one is your pick out of these?
