My Experience with CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick 372 Divine Wine
Packaging: These lipsticks now have the revamped packaging and come housed in gorgeous hue themed plastic bodies. At the bottom of the body there is transparent button that reflects the exact shade of the lipstick. The cap snaps shuts. Overall the revamped packaging is really attractive, travel friendly and sturdy too.
Texture: The lipstick has a lip balm like texture that melts on lips like butter and is really easy to apply. It sets to a satiny finish and makes lip look full.
Shade: 372 Divine Wine is a great blend of purple & pink shade. If you happen to be a purple lover but have not found any wearable purple hue, then I believe this will fit in the bill.
Color Payoff: This lipstick is heavenly pigmented and single swipe gives amazing flush of color to your pout, however a second swipe will offer for more précised and even application.
My Take: As I already mentioned that I do not really bond well with purple hues for my lips. They kind of make me look older and if Indian serials are to be believed, purple hues are for gray characters and I am happy soul with nothing gray about me. This shade is a blend of purple and pink, with purple being the ruling shade. The pink tones in it makes this shade wearable, a complete purple hue is actually hard to pull off.
The packaging is very attractive and sturdy. The color coded bottom makes it really handy to find the lipstick among the lot.
It has a balm like texture and allows easy & smooth application and is very forgiving for dry lips. Though a matte finish attracts me the most, but its satiny finish too worked well for me and I am quite happy with its finish and texture.
It stays for more than 5 hours on me and leaves a very very strong pink stain behind, the stain is strong enough that you might almost end up struggling when you try getting the stain removed.
Overall this is a great shade for all purple lovers and you must definitely owe this if you have a thing for purple hued pouts.
