Rose Flower Beauty Tips
Roses are much more than just flowers. Not only they symbolize love, romance and passion but the flowers also play a major role in enhancing your beauty by rejuvenating and replenishing your skin.
Roses are used in beauty treatments since time immemorial. The ancient Greeks and Romans used rose petals to perfume their baths.
So today I’ll be talking about the usefulness of rose petals and shall suggest some easy DIY face packs with rose petals.
- Use rose for that rose like glow:-
Make a paste of freshly plucked roses. I know it sounds terrible, how can one have the heart to do so? But you have to, right? Mix the rose paste with ingredients of your choice like sandal wood, multani mitti, yogurt, masoor dal paste, etc. Apply on clean and dry face and neck. Leave it for about 20 minutes and wash off. You’ll love the impeccable glow on your face. For best results use the packs at least once a week.
- For pimple free skin:-
Rose has antibacterial properties and thus can treat pimples and acne-prone skin. So if you have pimples and oily skin you can try this face pack. Make a paste of a freshly plucked rose Anyway, take the paste and mix it with sandal wood powder. You can add neem leaves too if you want. Now apply the pack evenly on face and neck. Leave it for about 20 minutes and wash off. Use the pack at least once a week for a pimple free, glowing skin.
- Prevent skin damage:-
Rose contains high amounts of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant. This important vitamin can help protect skin cells from damages and reverse signs of ageing. Mix a spoon of rose petal paste and mix it up with a spoon of ginger juice, lime juice and honey. Now apply the pack evenly on face and neck. Leave it for about 20 minutes and wash off. For best results, use the pack at least once a week.
It has great cleansing properties. So you make a dust of dried rose petals and mix it up with besan and few drops of water/milk. Apply on wet face and lightly massage in circular motions. Wash off for squeaky clean face.

Toner is an important part of the skincare routine. It locks in moisture, reduces pore sizes and proves to be a great base for moisturizer. Rose water is one of the best toners.
Pluck out the rose petals from the stem and wash them clean with water to remove all the dirt. Bring the water to boil. Now place the rose petals in the clean glass jar and pour the boiled water over the petals. Put a lid over the jar and keep the jar in sunlight for an entire day. Let the rose petals steep in the water till sun down. Now pour the entire mixture through the strainer to separate the rose petals from the rose water. Your rose water is ready for use.
It is a great moisturizer and provide ample hydration to dry dehydrated skin. Mix a spoon of fresh rose petal paste and mix it up with a spoon of honey. Now apply this evenly on face and neck. Leave it for about 20 minutes and wash off. This pack can be used on every alternate day.
