Milani Baked Powder Blush Rose D’Ore
I have already reviewed Milani Baked Blushes before in the shades Berry Amore, Corallina and Dolce Pink. You know how much I love these blushes because of the amazing texture and shades available in such an awesome price range. The subtle glitters in these blushes gives a lovely highlight to the face and makes my face glow.
Today I am reviewing another shade which is called Rose D’Ore.
About Milani Baked Blush-
“A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.”
Price- $7.99 for 3.5 g
Packaging-Blush has a transparent window display with a golden rim around which helps in identifying the shade. Below the blush there is a mirror inside and a small brush along. Packaging is okay when compared to the price which it comes for. Packaging in real is not that classy as it looks from far. It’s more or less cheap.
Shade-This is a lovely shade that will suit almost all skin tones. The shade Rose D’Ore is a nice peachy coral shade with fine gold shimmers in it. The shimmers don’t show up on the face much but gives nice glow to the cheeks. They may be visible but this is acceptable since it doesn’t make me look glittery the way I hate it and gives a subtle warm peach hue on my face.
Pigmentation– The pigmentation is also quite good and at the same time not overly pigmented that looks fine on the skin. Check the swatches I did for you; one is with flash and one is without flash.

Texture- Texture of this blush feels quite smooth and soft. It is little powdery and so swiping the brush should be done with less pressure else you’ll be wasting the product. It also has golden shimmers which is visible on face.
My experience with Milani Baked Blush Rose D’Ore
The packaging may not be that classy but for the price it comes for it is decent. The brush that comes with it is of no use! I always prefer to use a different blending brush for my blushes. It blends very well without much efforts and the shade is just perfect that will go with almost all skin tones. Even though there are gold simmers in it you can still wear it easily every day. What I like is this blush doesn’t enhance my open pores and gives some sparkle to my face. The staying power is about 4 – 5 hours which is decent and then it starts fading. Unlike drugstore products it doesn’t leave the shimmers behind on face while fading.
What I like about Milani Baked Blush Rose D’Ore?
- Transparent package. So you can check the shade from outside.
- Soft texture
- Blends well.
- Staying power is decent
- Suits almost all skin tones
- Decently priced
- Not chalky
- Good pigmentation
- Shimmery but acceptable
What I do not like about Milani Baked Blush Rose D’Ore?
- Packaging seems cheap. The window may get scratches.
- Not available in India. Available online only.
Will I Recommend It To Others? Yes, I definitely recommend this since the shade goes easily with many skin tones, suitable for every day use and looks pretty as well. It’s worth the price.
