The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet
Are you a TBS fan? Earlier I used to avoid The Body Shop products thanks to their steep prices. I used to think what can be so special but last year I decided to get a few of them and since then I am hooked. Now my LYB card keeps getting stamps after stamps
Usually the weather is dry in my city and you always need a body lotion or butter to keep skin soft but rains make the weather humid and you just do not feel like using heavy things. I really wanted to try body sorbets and as soon as monsoon knocked, I got one of them.

The body sorbet comes in a matte, transparent tube. It has a white flip cap. The plastic packaging is classy and sturdy. It’s bulky and so not suitable to travel with.
Texture and Fragrance:
Moringa body sorbet looks like our very own desi ghee or clarified butter Its off white color is similar to moringa flowers and texture is fluffy and light.
The fragrance is heavenly. I have never smelled moringa flowers but the fragrance of this sorbet is quite similar to jasmine or mogra flowers. The fragrance is not too strong. Once I apply it on my skin, I can’t smell it unless I place my nose on my skin Even this fragrant effect is short lived and the scent disappears in an hour or so.
My Experience with The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet:
This light and floral body moisturizer is a boon in hot and humid weather. TBS moringa body sorbet is really light and gets absorbed in the skin quickly. It is non-sticky and keeps my skin supple throughout the day. Here I would like to mention that my body skin is normal most of the year. I am not sure if this sorbet can keep dry skin hydrated for one whole day.
There is a lot of product in a tube and it will last for about 2 months when used once daily. You do not need a lot of it as this body sorbet spreads easily. I am in love with this light body moisturizer and would love to repurchase it in humid weather and for the rest of the year I will continue using body lotions or butters depending on how dry the weather is.
There are two more variants- strawberry and Satsuma. I am not a strawberry fan so I guess my next pick would be Satsuma body sorbet as I am currently head over heels in love with TBS Satsuma soap.
What I like about The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet:
- Keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day
- Light texture
- Lovely floral fragrance
- Attractive and sturdy packaging
- Perfect for use in hot and humid conditions
What I do not like about The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet:
- Expensive but thankfully it lasts long
- May not keep very dry skin hydrated for a long time
- Fragrance does not last very long
