Traditionally, besan is also used for hair problems like hair fall. In fact, it is used to be one of the main ingredients of a body scrub that was a beauty treatment for brides.

The All Purpose Pack:
It is one of the most commonly used face packs and is also one of the most effective one. Take besan and turmeric powder in equal proportions and prepare a paste by adding raw milk. Apply it evenly on your body and leave it till it dries off. Wash it off with lukewarm water and scrub your face gently in circular motion. This pack will remove tan, give you soft, glowing skin and will also fight signs of ageing. It will remove facial hair too.
The Besan Scrub:
Mix a spoon of besan with equal amounts of oats. Add honey and mix everything well. Apply on face and neck and gently massage in circular motions. Wash off after 10 minutes. You will get a squeaky clean skin.
For Removing Scars And Radiant Skin:
Ground 4 almonds and mix it with half teaspoon besan and half teaspoon of milk and lemon juice. Apply this paste on your face for 30 minutes. This pack will bleach your skin naturally. You can add full cream, sandalwood powder, orange peel or curd as per your choice. These packs will lighten your skin tone and help in tan removal.
You can apply the previous pack or you can simply mix besan with curd and a few drops of lemon. Apply on face, neck and arms. Keep it for 30 minutes and then massage for another 5-6 minutes. It will remove your tan and lighten your skin tone.
Homemade Bath Powder:
Mix Rice flour and Besan mix with curd and honey. Apply all over body except under eye area and lips. Keep the pack for about 20-30 minutes. Pour water and with circular movements massage whole body. Rinse off the pack with plenty of water. Moisturise if you feel dry. Use this pack for every 3- 4 days to see results.
