Deborah Atomic Red Mat Lipstick in shade 21
I am back with a lipstick review after a long time. I was quite preoccupied with several exams and related stuff, so was away from writing and checking posts regularly. Recently while checking a Deborah counter at my place, I checked their atomic red mat lipstick range. Several shades have been newly launched. I picked up some 6 shades. So let us see how these lipsticks turned out to be?

My Experience with Deborah Atomic Red Mat Lipstick in shade 21
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a velvety rubberised black casing with brand name printed over it in metallic red. All the shades from this range are given numbers. Shade number alongwith its finish is mentioned at the bottom of the casing. List of ingredients is no where mentioned, not even on their official site. The lipstick bullet is tapered just like Revlon Colorburst lipsticks, this shape of bullet is referred to as Moondrop. I prefer its shape as it can be easily applied without getting messy.
Shadewise: Deborah atomic red mat lipstick comes in some 21 shades. Maximum shades have been launched in 2015 and not available at all Deborah counters. Shade 21 is a gorgeous deep berry pink shade. It is a great shade for the falls. It is the closest dupe of the shade Mac Fashion revival and Mac Rebel. I was not earlier fond of such shades but lately I found such shades complement my NC 42 skin tone a lot. So when I found this shade, I bought without a second thought.
Pigmentation & Coverage: It is an intensely pigmented shade that gives opaque coverage on my pigmented lips with one swipe. I was really impressed with its intensity and bought another one for back up. I seriously do not understand why on earth I never bought these lipsticks ever, they have been launched since long time, but I never bothered to check these at the counter. If you guys prefer lipsticks that give full coverage , then check this range for sure.
Texture & Finish: It is a lightweight intensely pigmented lip color which is pretty lightweight. With initial application, it imparts satin finish which sets into velvety matte finish within sometime. It keeps my lips hydrated for a long time. It never makes my lips dry and does not result in chapped lips. I have found my holy grail matte lipstick with this range guys. I prefer comfortable long wear matte lipsticks, I liked L’Oreal moist matte lipsticks a lot but the Deborah ones are more intense.
Staying Power: It stays on my lips for some 5-6 hours with minimal fading, it can easily survive light meals. It is not completely transfer proof but way better than most of the lipsticks available in the market. Once it sets into matte finish, it hardly transfers.
