Hair Care Tips For Dry And Frizzy Hair
The Autumn season has officially begun and now comes the season of the ever drying skin and hair. As winter approaches, the main concern for many of use remains as to looking for effective ways to ensure moisturization of the skin and hair.
Talking about the hair, the lack of moisture in the environment makes it difficult for women to manage the lengthy locks. More than anything the over drying surrounding makes the hair too frizzy and unmanageable during this time which calls for a separate and elaborate hair care routine to maintain the hair texture.
Here I have listed few things which are great for the hair and will help in making them less frizzy and rough during the Autumn-winter season!
Apple Cider Vinegar
Here is the most known solution to your frizzy hair. This is one of the easiest things one can do for her hair. Just mix apple cider vinegar and plain water in equal amounts well and use it as final rinse after shampoo. Leave it for 10 – 15 minutes and then rinse again with plain water. Make sure you do it only once in 2 – 4 weeks but not so often.
Vitamin E and fatty acids in avocado can really help your hair get rid of frizz.Mash an avocado and mix some olive oil in it. Apply it to your hair evenly and leave it for an hour. You can do it after shampoo and have soft and smooth hair. If you don’t want to use oil after shampoo, then you can also mix in some curd instead of olive oil. You can do this once a week.
We also know that bananas can help you get rid of frizz easily. All you need to do is mash a very ripe banana and mix with some curd or yogurt. You can also mix some honey if you want and apply this to your hair. Do this after shampoo and leave it for at least 30 minutes and then rinse well. However you can also do this before shampoo if you want. You can do this every week for better results.
Coconut milk can add moisture to your tresses and make it manageable. Extract the milk from coconut and heat it slightly but not too hot. Apply this all over your hair evenly and wear a shower cap or wrap with a towel. You can leave it overnight or just for an hour. Wash your hair well and let it dry naturally. You can do it twice a week.
Have you heard of this before? Low pH of carbonated water can help you get rid of frizz due to humid weather. After shampoo, just rinse your hair with this water and you are done.
Mayonnaise can also help in moisturizing hair and keeping frizz at bay. Take some mayonnaise and mix some olive oil, apple cider vinegar and some honey in it. Apply this all over your hair and leave it for an hour after shampoo; rinse well with water.
Honey can lock the moisture in your hair and keep it moist al the time. Just take some honey, add few drops of lemon juice and some olive oil. Mix the ingredients well and apply it all over hair. Leave it for an hour and then rinse well. You can do this twice a week and apply after shampoo.
Eggs can treat your dry and frizzy hair very effectively but you can’t use it after shampoo. Beat an egg, mix some olive oil and honey in it. Apply this all over hair and leave it for an hour. You can wrap with a towel or wear a shower cap. Shampoo as usual but don’t use warm water to rinse hair since it will cook the egg in your hair. Whenever you use egg hair masks, use only cold water.
Other than these, you can also use olive oil. Just massage some olive oil to your scalp and hair well, wrap with a towel or wear a shower cap and leave it for an hour or leave it overnight. Then shampoo as usual. You can also use coconut oil instead of olive oil. You can also use beer to rinse your hair after shampoo which we ladies don’t prefer much but it works. All you need to do is to get rid of the smell.
