My Experience with Wet N Wild Color Icon Lip Liner Plumberry 715
Packaging– This lip liner is a really long pencil liner and can be easily sharpened using any eyeliner sharpener. The tip is secured by a transparent plastic cap. It shuts tightly and is good for travel purposes.
Shade– The shade Plumberry is a very light mauve plum shade which looks MLBB for dusky skin tones and is also apt for daily wear or office wear lipstick shade. The shade is light and not pigmented as the shade Berry Red & Fab Fuchsia.
Texture– The texture of this lip liner pencil is rich as the tip gets used quickly in a singe use and you need to sharpen it again! The pigmentation is really good and it gives an opaque color in a single swipe. Since the lip liner is not creamy enough it feels a little dry on the lips, so you need to apply a lip balm beneath or on the top to makes your lips feel the moisturization.
My Take– Talking about this shade, I first thought it to be a deep plum shade which won’t suit me as I am not so fond of carry berry or plum shades very often! But when I opened the packaging and sharpened it a bit, it was a lovely light mauve plum shade which was not pigmented as I thought it to be!
I believe this shade is great for dusky skin tones as well and will not wash out their complexion unlike most mauve shades.
The shade is light and not pigmented enough. It is also not opaque and takes 2-3 swipes to give a nice light plum hue on the lips. I don’t think that it is capable of completely hiding the lip pigmentation and one will surely need a more deep shade of lipstick to pair with this plumberry lip liner. The lip liner is mildly creamy and feels dry on the lips which makes it last a little longer!
It can be easily worn alone and I am really enjoying wearing these lip liners alone! It looks a great mauve pink shade on my lips and perfect for casual day out!
Overall, I really loved the lip liner and think that it is a great lip liner with such an affordable price!
