5 Cream Blushes For Medium Skin Tones
As the autumn arrives and the weather cools down (a bit) , it is time to bring out those luxuriously creamy and soft blushes. So today I’ll be sharing 5 cream blushes for medium skin toned beauties..
The color is a creamy matte mauve-brown. It may look really dark in the pan and in the swatch, but its actually quite light and natural looking. It doesn’t give a flushed look but rather gives a healthy warm look to the face. This cream blush highlights the face and gives skin a healthy glow of radiance. Estée Lauder Signature Satin Crème Blush goes on creamy and finishes as a luminous powder that won’t streak or settle into fine lines. So? You can wear this in summers as well.
This looks like a dark maroon in the pan but on my skin, it looks like a nice bright red blush. It has no shine or shimmer. The blush is really thick and creamy, but not difficult to blend though. This blush is not for the faint-hearted, thats for sure. It’s an out-right red and needs to be applied with care. This is a highly pigmented blush and trust me, when I say that 2 tiny dots are all I need for both my cheeks. At this rate I really don’t think this will ever get over! It stays about 6-7 hrs on combination skin.
It comes off as a lovely berry shade which can be blended easily and gives that ‘fresh as a daisy’ look. It gives a medium coverage. However, it can be built up. The blush itself is very creamy and easy to apply. NARS cream-to-powder cheek color glazes cheeks with a sheer, glowing finish that’s never greasy. Apply over freshly moisturized skin or over foundation for gorgeous color that lasts all day – and is nearly impossible to overdo.
Shade Sh.Red looks really dangerous in the pan but it actually is a comfortable shade to wear especially for dusky skin tone. It’s a peachy coral orange and has a satiny feel .I have blended the tiny bit which I had on my finger above for this swatch. This shade gives five hours of wear with my foundation on and then starts fading out. I must tell you that the weather here has been extremely hot but still it last for a long time.
The blush is a universally flattering warm peach shade and it doesn’t have any shimmer! The blush is intensely pigmented and I need just 2 dots on cheeks and that’s sufficient! It’s a cream blush with matte formula which means that once this sets, it looks exactly like a powder blush. I’ve worn this blush for 9hrs at a stretch and by the end of it I still had a nice rosy tint on my cheeks. It starts fading only after about 6hrs of wear. Quite impressive. Zara says, “I love how easily this blends into the skin. This shade is so gorgeous and would be flattering on all skin tones. It doesn’t give a flushed look or anything, but just gives a healthy and wholesome look to my face. This is the best phrase I could come up with to express how this looks…”
