Blushes For The Perfect Winter Flush
Blush is a very important part of makeup. Without it your look will be incomplete. It can either make your look, or break it. Right shade of blushes when worn in a right manner can work wonders for your face.
Winter is a time to experiment with colors. So as the autumn arrives and the weather cools down (a bit), besides gorgeous powder blushes, it is time to bring out those luxuriously creamy and soft blushes…
Today we are listing top 10 blushes for the perfect winter flush..
It comes off as a lovely berry shade which can be blended easily and gives that ‘fresh as a daisy’ look. It gives a medium coverage. However, it can be built up. The blush itself is very creamy and easy to apply. NARS cream-to-powder cheek color glazes cheeks with a sheer, glowing finish that’s never greasy. Apply over freshly moisturized skin or over foundation for gorgeous color that lasts all day – and is nearly impossible to overdo.
This looks like a dark maroon in the pan but on my skin, it looks like a nice bright red blush. It has no shine or shimmer. The blush is really thick and creamy, but not difficult to blend though. This blush is not for the faint-heated, that’s for sure. It’s an out-right red and needs to be applied with care. This is a highly pigmented blush and trust me, when I say that 2 tiny dots are all I need for both my cheeks. At this rate I really don’t think this will ever get over! It stays about 6-7 hrs on combination skin.
It is a complex mix of coral, pink and red with a touch of shimmer. Awesome texture, pigmentation and staying power.
The color is an all out raspberry shade with purple undertones. In the pan, it looks like it may be a bit shimmery but when applied it comes out totally matte. A single swipe will make you go crazy with the amount of color that comes off. This is an insanely pigmented blush and needs to be used carefully or else you’d look like one of those PeeWee dolls with their white faces and cheeks which stick out with the round red circles. This blush stays on me the entire day!
A pretty blue based pink. Like most blushes in this range, this is highly pigmented and just a single swipe is sufficient for a cheek. The blush is intensely creamy and buildable. This is good for winters and for starters to use since it is not easy to go overboard with this.
Again a blue based pink. These stick blushes look pretty solid in the tube but are creamy. Blending of the blush is not a problem, even in the freezing cold winter of Delhi(India). You will need few layers on your skin to blend out the colour well. The blush has no fragrance.
Shade Sh.Red looks really dangerous in the pan but it actually is a comfortable shade to wear especially for dusky skin tone. It’s a peachy coral orange and has a satiny feel .I have blended the tiny bit which I had on my finger above for this swatch. This shade gives five hours of wear with my foundation on and then starts fading out. I must tell you that the weather here has been extremely hot but still it last for a long time.
The colour is a very pretty berry with micro-shimmers, a perfect colour for any woman during the winters. It warms up the complexion and can be used as a contouring blush too by darker beauties. This blush is so insanely pigmented that a single pump is enough not only for you, but also an entire Indian joint family! Velvety soft, lightweight and highly pigmented color creates a long-lasting result for all day wear.
