About Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss Corail Trapeze N 204
A made-to-measure customizable lip gloss that provides extreme shine, luxurious hydration, and radiant color. Get unbelievable shine without the stickiness. Inspired by a kiss, Gloss Volupté provides up to ten times more shine than a classic gloss. The unique applicator is shaped like a kiss and allows for even application over fuller or finer lips. Mix and match the three top coats to the glosses to achieve different looks and effects from subtle to sultry.
Price– $32 for 0.2 oz. I got a sample of three lip gloss shades.
Packaging– The lip gloss sample comes in a leaflet and has separate sachets for the three different shade. There is a mini sponge doe-foot applicator that comes along with this sample to apply this lip gloss.
Shade– The shade Corail Trapeze is described as a warm toned true coral shade. It looks quite beautiful when swatched on the hand and has more of orangish hint than a coral shade.
Texture– The texture of the lip gloss is very creamy and non-sticky and gives a beautiful glossy finish when applied on the lips.
Fragrance– It has a fruity fragrance as that of a fruit juice and truly yummy!
First Impressions of Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss Corail Trapeze N 204
Well, in the swatch the shade looks more of orange based coral shade but on the lips it is completely transparent with a very subtle orange- peach hue! The shade looks so natural and pretty on the lips that one couldn’t ask for more! For those beauties who have mild lip pigmentation at the corners, this shade might not come out to be very flattering since this looks quite transparent. If you layer it too much it will look milky and not appealing!
Best option to try this gloss is to pair it up with a similar orange based coral lipstick and apply this gloss on top of it to give a rich look!
The texture is mildly sticky but not irritating! The yummy fragrance will make you lick the lip gloss once for sure! (I am guilty of doing that!! )
Overall, it turned out to be a nice shade and will compliment most skin tones unless they have very dark lips!
