Hacks To Fix Makeup Mistakes
From hair to makeup, from kitchen to bathroom, in bedroom and your living room, from skin care to hair care, there are always some hacks that make life a bit easier and fun.
When it comes to beauty, we’ve all got a few tricks up our sleeves. There are tricks to enhance our beauty and there are hacks to fix our beauty mistakes as well. So here are a few hacks which can fix your beauty mistakes in seconds.
But first I would like to say, it is okay to do mistakes while doing your makeup, especially when you are first learning anything. Everyone has done at least one of these; I have done these. So don’t panic.
Lets the hack magic begin….
Too much foundation?
This is a very common mistake that we all make when we put on makeup. We often end up applying excess foundation which makes the makeup look cakey. But worry not. Just lightly moisten a clean sponge with water and sponge all of your face with downward movements. Make sure the sponge you are using didn’t have any makeup residue. This will remove all the cakey spots and give you a dewy glow.
Too dark eye shadow?
You can simply try blurring the eye shadow toward the edges with a clean brush to reduce the color. If it still looks odd, swirl your eye shadow buffing brush on your translucent powder and sweep on your lid to blur the eye shadow.
Too much blush?
Blush is a very important part of makeup. Without it your look will be incomplete. It can either make your look, your break it. If you don’t apply blush your makeup will look flat, and if you apply too much, you’ll end up looking like a clown. I often used to look like a clown on my early blush days. But don’t worry, this hack is going to save us. Just stroke your cheek with a thick, loose powder bush brush. Make sure the brush is completely clean. If you still have too much blush on, apply translucent or clear powder with the same brush, just over the blush. That way the two powders should mix, clarifying the original color.
Too dark eyebrows
While filling up eyebrows, we often end up having too stark and bold eye brows. Bold stark eyebrows may look good on stage or on ramp, but for daily makeup, it might look odd. So if you have painted your eye brows too dark, start brushing the eyebrow with a clean Q-tip. Remember not to go against the hair growth, or you will end up having messy brows. You will see how quickly the color you initially applied disappears.
Smeared mascara on my eyelid:-
This is a mistake even a pro can make. We often tend to smear mascara on lids while applying on lashes. When you see the smear, don’t stop applying your mascara in the middle. Finish applying your mascara and allow it to dry. Now take a Q-tip and apply right over the smudge. You’ll see how it quickly it disappears and you will need to remove the makeup from your whole eye. While applying your makeup, tilt your head backwards, look at the tip of your nose and then apply mascara. Start applying on the inferior lashes and move to the superior. This way chances of smearing mascara is very less.
This is one more interesting way to avoid lipstick bleeding. Just dab the Q-tip in loose powder and run along the edge of the freshly applied lipstick. This becomes like your lakshman rekha. Lipstick won’t come out of it because powder becomes it barrier.
